Wonderful doctor with a great bedside manner. He knows his stuff! Office staff is super friendly, maybe there were issues in the past according to the reviews (which honestly made me apprehensive), but I found his staff to be welcoming, knowledgeable, and very friendly. I highly recommend!

I went to Dr. Nelson, about 2 years ago. Then I had money decided to go back him. He is the best surgeon. He was straight and to the point. His blunt honesty was the best. He was respectful and polite about what he was talking about. I had a breast augmentation. I am 3 months post op and i couldnt be happier. The scars are not noticable at all. I will and forever recommend him and his practice to anyone!

Poor rhinoplasty surgeon- complications that could have been avoided.

Dr. Nelson is one of the most skilled, ethical physicians in the business. He has worked on me at least 5 times with exceptional results. He's honest about realistic results and will only recommend procedures that will make a difference vs those where he could 'make a buck' (like other cosmetic surgeons might!). So you can count on him for excellent and honest feedback, exceptional surgical skill (face and body) and overall value. His staff is also knowledgeable, well trained and pleasant. If you're exploring plastic surgery in this area, definitely include Dr. Nelson!

Only reason why they're getting 1 Star is because Dr. Nelson was informative and professional. Otherwise it'd be 0 stars if possible. Dr. Nelson, your front office staff just earned you this bad review. I called to ask for information regarding closing my gauges. Of course the lady I spoke to on the phone said "we can't be sure unless you have a consult." Understandable.

When I then asked her what the absolute worst case scenario/most expensive case would be she then said "it ranges from $350 to $750. The latter being the max" I asked "per ear?" She said "No. for both ear lobes." She told me this after I had mentioned my gauge size and that my ears were definitely NOT worse case scenario. She confirmed that $750 would be the max.

I agreed to a consult. Drive 45 minutes across town. Pay a $50 non-refundable fee, only to be told that it was instead gonna be $1,900. Lady in the front could only say "yeah, I'm sorry, every case is different blah blah blah. You want to talk about running a scam? Here ya go! Just thought I'd share my experience.

I have had two major reconstruction procedures performed by Dr. Nelson. On my first visit I was completely impressed by the staff before I even met Dr. Nelson. After consulting with him I knew he was the surgeon I would allow to do my surgeries. How did they turn out? Amazing! There is bad, good and outstanding service. Bad is where they don't meet your needs or expectations.

Good is when they do, but no more or no less. Outstanding is when they go above and beyond your expectations, what I refer to as the WOW moments. Dr. Nelson AND his staff get a WOW, WOW, WOW! After having 19. surgeries there are two doctors I would rate the highest And, I would have NO concerns having them perform any procedure needed. Dr. Nelson is one of the two.

The other is my ortho who performed my fourth and fifth spinal surgeries done over two days - he's in Orange, CA (just in case you need an excellent orthopedic surgeon). Dr Nelson is great! I had a few problem areas I wasn't happy with and Dr Nelson was able to turn back the clock. His staff is wonderful also. I would highly recommend him.

Dr Nelson is honest, very professional and has a wonderful staff! I was impressed from start to finish. The amount of time he spent with me going over pictures to get the results that would be best for me was amazing. He never rushed me or made me feel silly for asking questions. His staff is patient and kind. They never became frustrated when I asked questions regarding pricing and procedures.

I have had a wonderful experience at his office from the time I had my consultation. The staff is fantastic and answered all of my questions when I was scheduling my surgery. Dr Nelson is an artist and talks to you not at you and explains in terms you can understand. Thank you for all the great service.

I had a "fatty-deposit" that looked like a horn growing on my forehead and I was supper embarrassed. I am a man's man and I though I would be so uncomfortable going to a plastic surgeon. Turns out, no big deal! From start to finish everyone was amazing and not one person has said anything about the cut/scar (I dont even notice it)! Cant thank your team enough!

Dr Nelson is the best surgeon I have ever had. He had the best attitude and was honest and sincere. I couldve had my life altered severely, but he saved me. I would recommend him to anyone! I will forever be grateful to Dr. Nelson!

Dr. Nelson is a superb plastic surgeon. He is extremely meticulous in his work. I could not have asked for better results following my prophylactic bilateral mastectomies. I enjoyed his "snarky" personality. He is a matter of fact type guy. Dr. Nelson is definitely not the "hand holding" type doctor. The office staff is weak as mentioned in other reviews i.e. appointments, call backs, insurance, and information. Talk to Dr. Nelson and he will handle any of the above issues. His outstanding abilities are well worth some of the inconveniences of his ancillary personnel.

I have called many times and emailed and the Dr nor his office has tried to ever contact me back for WEEKS. Sad they don't want to help military personal or have the time to call me back about my previous calls. Don't think I will be sticking with this location because if a patient needs something, apparently this office is impossible to get ahold of!

My daughter was Dr. Nelson's patient for a double mastectomy and reconstruction. The most important recommendation I can make about Dr. Nelson is his obvious expertise. He also makes it very clear that he and his patients are a team - as it should be. For the best possible outcome it behooves the patient to do her/his part. Dr. Nelson makes a number of suggestions that pertain to the specific patient.

He explains frankly and honestly what the patient can, might, or cannot expect. Dr. Nelson exemplifies professionalism with a nice balance of humor, kindness, and understanding. He does his best and expects his patients to do their best. The office staff is friendly, kind, and helpful as well.

I went to see Dr Nelson for a consultation, he spent 1.5 hours with me for a "free" appointment. After much consideration I did go forward with the surgery. I can't say enough about this man and his staff. They were very kind, supportive and NEVER made me feel bad about calling with questions after surgery. Prior to surgery he took the time to answer all of my questions to make an educated decision.

I have had some minor issues post op (my healing, not surgical), and he has seen me, again answering all questions along the way. I have talked with the staff and they have always made time to answer questions and help me along my journey. As a nurse I have worked with many specialists, have sat in many specialists office that don't take the time, or respect your time (make you wait for hours in their offices). This was not the case with Dr. Nelson, office staff very professional, appointments on time, never felt hurried or rushed. I would recommend Dr. Nelson for any procedure!

Dr. Nelson is an excellent surgeon I am very happy with my results (actually I could not be happier). Expectations were very clear from day one. He answered all of my questions and concerns completely and I appreciated his honest approach to this major decision. I felt like I was in capable hands the entire time. I strongly recommend Dr. Nelson when going under the knife!

Dr. Nelson really impressed me. Very knowledgeable and did a great job on my procedure. He is a little "rushed" at times making you feel like you have to hurry and ask questions but always answers them and does seem irritated at all. His Assistant Cristina was amazing. Before my procedure I sent so many emails asking so many questions. She always responded quickly and not just short, rushed answers. She explained everything and helped put my mind at ease. I would definitely go here again if I needed or wanted a procedure :

I should have taken the hidden warning in the previous five star review more seriously. This guy actually does have horrible bedside manner and was very insulting during a brief consultation. He made unsolicited comments that were immature and unprofessional.

Dr. Nelson is a fabulous plastic surgeon. I have heard people complain about his bedside manner (which I think is fabulous) but as far as I am concerned, his talent and kindness are far more important than any bedside manner issues. He has operated on me as well as my mother in law. My daughter wants to have some work done and she will be seeing him as well.

After one year post-procedures, a great improvement is apparent but not as great as I had hoped. The literature does say subsequent procedures may be necessary for optimum results and I will not go down that road again. The recovery is painful and not something to undertake lightly. Post procedure, I have a small knot on one cheekbone which is the result of the suturing done under the surface of the skin.

The folds in my lids are (thankfully) gone but my eyes look a little droopy. The major lines in my cheeks are also gone but the skin around my mouth doesn't look too different than pre-procedure. The procedure entailed incisions in the scalp which minimized or nearly reduced the amount of scars I thought I would see. The doctor is very skilled.

Skin care is a major onging part of maintaining the cosmetic surgery results. This office sells a number of cosmetic lines and also schedules injections of fillers. All in all, I am satisfied with the result, thought the price was fair, and feel my overall appearance wasn't transformed into some plastic surgery horror story.

Dr. Nelson did an amazing job on my breast augmentation surgery! I had seen about 6 doctors for consultations, Dr. Nelson was the ONLY one who was concerned about a neck injury I had in the past, and was very helpful to guide me in the right direction as to the size that would not make my injury cause me any additional pain do to the weight of the implants.

He was very informative and answered all my questions.and gave me info I didn't even know or think to ask about. His staff was very sweet and helpful as well. I would definatly recomend Dr. Nelson and his staff to everyone!
