Oh how I miss Dr Macdonald so much. I'd ended up moving to another state, and unfortunately I haven't found a surgeon who is as awesome as Dr Macdonald. He does the BEST botox job, really opening up my eyes, to an almost alluring look. Now my eyes are constantly beady. My naso-labial folds are more pronounced, the surgeon using 4 FOUR syringes for my whole face. Unbelievable, I don't recall Dr Macdonald ever using more than 2 on my face. Dr Macdonald is definitely underrated, the best in San Francisco, possibly the whole nation. Miss you Dr Macdonald

Dr Macdonald and staff were nothing short of wonderful! His office is warm and welcoming and I immediately felt comfortable. Unfortunately the TMJ botox treatment I received was not as successful as I was hoping for as I'm still experiencing considerable jaw pain a week after the procedure. Really bummed it didn't work, but I know how relentless chronic TMJ can be no matter what you try. Had a great experience while there.

Dr. Macdonald has been my go-to plastic surgeon for aesthetic treatments and procedures since 2019. I've had liposuction, a submentoplasty, regular botox injections, migraine preventative botox injections, subtle fillers, and recently began a chemical peel series. The doctor is always kind, personable, professional, and down to earth. He always knows what to recommend to give me what I'm looking for, but is also not afraid to put some guardrails on my expectations.

He prefers his outcomes to look natural and undetectable. Don't go to him looking for those overdone injections or inhuman proportions. Do go to him if you want your natural beauty elegantly enhanced.

I was referred to Dr. MacDonald by my friend and am very glad I found him. I had a lip lift done overseas in 2013 which resulted in big scar on my upper lip. I went to see a surgeon in Beverly Hills in 2015 which removed big scar but had upper lip that did not line up. I pretty much gave up any hope of getting this fixed until I met Dr. MacDonald.

After meeting him and saw so many testimonies from his patients in a big binder in his office, I decided to proceed with surgery. It has been 3 weeks since surgery and my upper lip is looking better and better every day. I have faith in him and trust him completely. I am really looking forward to getting my upper lip looking more natural as it heals more in the next few months.

It has been 6 months since my surgery. The scar around the upper lip border is very minimal and looks more natural and I am no longer self conscious about my upper lip scar. I wish I had known about Dr. MacDonald back in 2015 which would have saved multiple trips to Beverly Hills.

Dr. Macdonald is my hero! I suffered with ugly calcium deposits around my eyes for 10yr due to side effects from thyroid disease. After years of being told there is no way to correct it, or that I was too dark for surgery. Dr Macdonald reassured me he could help. He was upfront and honest about what he could fix. 4 month post op and I could not be happier, my only regret is that I did not find him 10yrs ago. Dr. McDonald is one of the best plastic surgeons in the bay area. He recently did an eye surgery for me and it looks beautiful. His staff members are very professional and are always ready to help in any way they can! I will continue to use their services snd products as the years go by!

I work in healthcare and I am 51. I was greeted by wonderful staff starting with the front desk to the nurse then Dr. Macdonald himself. I have received several laser treatments here and was always pleased with the results. My skin is not perfect but I prefer laser for fillers or microneedling. I decided to get Botox this time around and was worried I would get too much and look frozen.

The Dr assured me and I left pleased. I am 1 week from laser and botox. I feel the difference with botox as my forehead feels "stiff" which isn't a bad thing. I tend to over express in this area. I have a couple of small areas that I feel need more attention but the Dr. assured me I could return and he would add to those areas free of charge. As my skin was peeling I could see all the "dead" layers not a pretty look because I used a ton of Zinc to protect myself from the sun. My skin always feels smoother after laser. I will be going back for my upper lip.

I had a Septorhinoplasty done by Dr. Michael Macdonald. I'm very happy with my results. Dr MacDonald has a manner that is direct and engaging, and he went above and beyond to ensure I was able to have the results I was looking for, insurance coverage and all. At the one month follow-up when I expressed how happy I was with how it looks and how much better I breathe, he seemed just as thrilled as I felt. Getting this procedure done was a bit of an emotional roller coaster for me as someone who hasn't had surgery before, between making the decision to go ahead with it & the early part of the healing process. He ensured my questions were addressed along the way. I really felt I could trust him with my nose, and on this side of it I'm glad I had it done by him.

Dr. Macdonald is the best i have ever seen in his field. His is a kind and caring surgeon that explains everything he will do clearly and is with you every step of the way providing warm care following your procedure. I had nothing but the best care that I have received by him even though I had kept bothering him with questions and was scared throughout the check ups.

He was always patient and took his time to explain everything in detail to make sure I was comfortable. His bedside manner was flawless. I had always had issues growing up with my nose and when it was broken it had always become a self conscious issue of mine. All of this was resolved post surgery and the work that had been done was that of a true expert.

I could hardly contain my joy upon seeing my nose and was left in the patients room to look at my face and could not leave the mirror since I had just witnessed it after taking off the cask for the first time. It was amazing. I can never thank you enough Dr. Macdonald. I am forever in your debt. Highly recommended to anyone in need of a brilliant surgeon!
