Dr. Lopes did a wonderful job 15 years ago when I had my saline implants put in. There is no complaint I could possibly make about her. So of course I returned when I wanted to get gel implants (I didn't need to replace or repair my saline implants). Her staff made everything so easy, they're helpful and are ready to answer any questions, at any time. If I ever need another cosmetic surgery I will definitely be coming to Dr. Lopes again.

Went in for a chemical peel with Maggie. She is great, and very knowledgeable. She even wrote a skin care regimen for me to follow. Rain, the office manager is very gracious, always a smile on his face. I will definitely be returning.

Just had some work done with Dr. Lopes and her staff. I am extremely happy with my results so far. I am only one week post-op but I think everything looks great. My pain has been literally non-existent, trust me when I say my pain tolerance is low. I was so grateful when I found out she did a different method during surgery, that made it so I didn't have as many incisions to heal. Dr. Lopes is going to be my first recommendation to everyone.

Her staff Brooke, Gina, Shelby, Kim are all great members to her team, they are all very knowledgeable and down to earth. Thank you all, for making my experience as great as it has been. I am looking forward to a speedy recovery.

Dr Lopes and her staff went way past any expectation I could have had. From start to finish; from the receptionist to Dr Lopes herself. Kind, friendly, caring, compassionate and dose great work. I had a tummy tuck done, along with some lipo. I thought it would be awkward being a man working with a woman Dr and staff but it wasn't. They treated me with much respect and I was totally comfortable thru-out the whole process. If you need something done, make this your first stop, I think you'll be glad you did. I certainly intend to use her services again as soon as I heal completely.

Dr. Lopes and her entire team are A-1! From my consultation, to payment options, to phone calls, to check in before surgery, all the way up to surgery, I've been treated with respect and allowed to ask as many questions as possible with a pleasant response. I have HIGH anxiety but Dr. Lopes and her team talked to me and made me feel comfortable while setting the ambiance (comfy chair, warm blanket and pillow, soothing yet upbeat and happy music softly playing in the background) for relaxation.

I only had my surgery yesterday so I will write another review about my results. I had a lower blepharoplasty for the genetic eye bags that have been driving me insane since I was in high school (I am now 31). My procedure was transconjunctival due to my keloid skin type. So far there's minimal pain and swelling and it appears the results will be beautiful.

If you're looking into treatment with Dr. Lopes, do yourself a favor and at least schedule a consultation. I'm sure after that visit you won't want to look elsewhere. Dr. Lopes is very straightforward, gives you all the possible options, and does not attempt to upsell her patients. Her friendly demeanor and honesty (and competitive pricing) sold me from the beginning.

If I ever want another procedure I will undoubtedly do it with Dr. Lopes! Good Luck in your search and if you're in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia, give the Cosmetic Surgery Center a try, you will not be disappointed.

Dr. Lopes and her staff were so pleasant that I wish I could leave a better review. First, I did feel a bit rushed in speaking with Dr. Lopes during my initial consultation on January 11, 2021. In addition to discussing surgical liposuction, I really wanted to ask her about Coolsculpting but received the impression that she needed to quickly get to another patient. Second, my consultation was over a week ago but I have not heard what the quote is.

The date of my visit, I was informed that I would receive a quote at the end. That, however, did not happen. I was told that the person who did that was not in the office and sent on my way despite driving 4 hours to this appointment (one way) based on my friend's recommendation. A day later, someone from the office called and left a message stating that my quote was ready and to call back for details.

I wish that this could have been emailed to me as I thought I had listed that as my preferred contact. Placing that aside, I became slammed with work for the next few days and was unable to call back. Then, when I did call back, I was again told that the person who did the quotes was not in the office. She added, however, that someone else would call me to discuss the quote in a few minutes once she was off the phone.

This was around 3pm, during business hours. I did not receive a call back. As a result of this treatment, I do not feel as if my business is valued. I'm really disappointed as I feel that I wasted a day and will have to spend more valuable time seeking an extra consultation. I had higher hopes for this office as it was so strongly recommended by my friend.

I am so happy results! Doctor Lopes recommended exactly what I needed and I have never been so happy trying on clothes. I was nervous about having breast augmentation done but I could not have gotten better more natural looking results anywhere else in the area. The staff of lovely ladies at the cosmetic surgery center is amazing as well! I'm extremely satisfied.

I'm a mom of three! All products of cesareans. I've also lost and gained 60 pounds with each baby! So you can imagine the extra skin that needed to be removed and my breasts needed to be lifted as well. I'm so beyond pleased with my results. Dr. Lopes changed my life! I feel like a work of perfect art. I cried the happiest tears when I saw my new perfect shape.

My husband is beyond flabbergasted with my results. He continues to look at me in awe and amazement, not even believing these results could be possible. It is very apparent that this is Dr. Lopes passion and she is a true artist. I traveled from out of town to have my surgery specifically with her. Everyone was most accommodating! Brooke was my nurse throughout the whole experience, and she was truly an angel!

She answered all my questions in great detail, and took the time to make sure I was confident in how the procedures were going to go. My mom also had full body reconstructive surgery with Dr. Lopes 17 years ago, and her results are still so phenomenal to this day, that's the reason I chose her! Dr. Lopes will be my plastic surgeon for life! Don't hesitate to make your appointment with this WORLD CHANGER!

There is no better surgeon than Dr. JoAnne Lopes. I was interested in a lower face/neck lift. Dr. Lopes is very skilled at explaining what different procedures would accomplish what. I tend to ask tons of questions! I appreciate the patience they had with me. We went forward with my face/neck lift with a bit of Doctor recommended tweaking here and there.

I trust her opinion and instincts implicitly. The results are FABULOUS. The entire staff from the front door to the surgery center are warm, helpful, caring, and knowledgeable. Helps alot with the nervous jitters, making you feel welcome. Love the friendly office. I would not go anywhere else!

I had some work done by Dr. Joanne Lopes several years ago and feel that it was extremely unsatisfactory. I had made my decision throughout several years and saved for the procedure. I interviewed many cosmetic surgeons and felt that it would be a good fit, boy was I wrong. It started wrong for the very beginning. After placing a deposit and. scheduling the surgery, I had a consult prior to the procedure in which I was completely rushed through.

Not only was I rushed but The assistant for Dr. Joanna Lopes was brand new on her first day of work & new nothing of me or my procedure. She was very unconfident and had a lack of attention to my appointment. Dr. Joann was not attentive as she spent.
