I do not recommend this doctor at all. I breathe worse than I ever had. This doctor was dishonest and intentionally misled me about the cause of my breathing issues - he then performed unnecessary procedures on me in an attempt to obtain insurance compensation. Instead of leaving me with my own nose and improved breathing - He left me with a completely different nose that does not function, lacks underlying cartilaginous support and looks bad.
It is crucial for a patient to be able to trust their doctor and to have a thorough and in depth understanding of what the surgical plan will be along with actual reasons for possible deviation from that plan. Dr. Guida does not want to be accountable to informed patients as he is not a skilled enough surgeon to respond to any viable questions. He is intentionally deceptive/unclear.
His tactics are not consistent with ethical and value driven behavior for obtaining medical consent. He does not deserve the privilege of working in the medical field / helping profession. Do not allow your trusting nature to convolute your interpretation of the true nature of this manipulative individual.

From the first phone call to Dr, Guida's office to the stitches being taken out, was the most amazing experience. The staff is kind, efficient, caring, experienced and thoughtful. I went for my consultation and everything was explained to perfection. I was informed about procedure and how we move forward. When I was greeted for my eye biepharoplasty the nurse and I spoke as if we were old friends.
The anesthesiologist was extremely thorough as I have a rare allergy to a medication that is used in many surgeries like this. Dr. guida put me at ease along with his team. I was very nervous but they assured me I would not feel any pain. Next thing I knew I woke up. No pain. I was given instructions which I followed to the letter. I did not feel any pain or discomfort at all.
I was looking forward to going back to the office to see this wonderful staff just to say thank you so much. Dr. Guida took the stitches out and told me play by play how it would feel a. Truly did not hurt!. it is 9 days since my procedure and I still have no pain and my eyelids look amazing! You can see my blue eyes for the first time in many years.

Doctor Guida has GOD hands! He is a professional. Definitely knows what he is doing. I work in the field so I know an expert when I see one. He works with you and does not disappoint. He did my nose a little over a week ago and it came out PERFECT! Just how I wanted it to come out. He means his words. He is a perfectionist and very detailed. He fixed my deviated septum and I can breathe beautifully just after 8 days! ( and of course like I said my nose came out beautiful!) I highly recommend him to anyone looking to perform rhinoplasty.
His staff is on the same level. The nurses, and receptionists are all sweet and great people and I can not thank them more for getting me to where I am right now. I did not feel ANY pain after my surgery which was also amazing and barely bruised. To the most humble, sweetest doctor I am so lucky I came to you and trusted you. Dr. Guida has changed my life. When I used to quite literally shy away from photos, and find every way possible not to turn to the side because I felt like people were staring at my nose, I am now turning to the side for pictures on PURPOSE because my nose looks so cute and perfect. The minute I met Dr. Guida, all my anxiety washed away. I felt totally confident in his hands. I went to Dr. Guida after numerous friends recommended him. I had my facial surgery a few months ago and I look just like I expected. My mother was very impressed. She thought I would look pulled or stretched. Dr. Guida believes in a natural look, which is what I wanted. I look rested and great? I'm going back for a septoplasty & a full face CO2 laser resurfacing. After 3 years I have finally gotten around to writing Dr. Guida a review. I found Dr. Guida through multiple family members who have used him for procedures throughout the years. Yes, he is not the usual talkative doctor that goes on and on but he says enough to make you feel calm. I never even brought him a picture to show him what I was envisioning but he just "got it" (although I do recommend bringing one).
Every procedure is a risk. If I learned anything after having my rhinoplasty it's that there is NO such thing as perfection! But my nose is close enough to it. Dr. Guida did such a good job making it look natural that my own mother didn't believe me after I told her that I had it done. I am not the type of woman that wants people to know they had work done so for me his skill of making it look natural won me over.
The surgery itself took about an hour. Recovery was a week long and after that it was smooth sailing. I will say that the final result took a while (months)- with rhinoplasty surgery there is a lot of swelling. My sense of smell is still perfect so I'm super thankful for that. I think it's really important for women to understand that every case is different and Dr. Guida works with your nose.
He can't make you look like anyone but YOU. I'm beyond happy with my results. Thanks Dr. Guida! ALSO, for the record and in response to the negative review- I had an open rhinoplasty and my profile is perfect!

I cannot even believe what I'm reading in Emma B. review, who also negatively reviewed another plastic surgeon the same week she reviewed Dr. Guida. I actually googled Dr. Guida's number because I didn't have it on me and needed it for a friend, and when I saw the review, I had to read it. I'm disgusted by the way she portrayed Dr. Guida and his staff. Dr. Guida and his staff are not only warm and welcoming, but genuinely care about their patients.
I have referred many patients to him, both male and female, all of whom were ecstatic with their results. Dr. Guida performed rhinoplasty on me, as well and upper and lower blepheroplasty and laser. I also go to him for Botox and fillers, and he is a genius in that department. NO ONE can ever tell that I have had work done on my face, or that I get injections, and are shocked when I tell them.

After meeting with him, I immediately booked my appointment, and couldn't be happier. Dr. Guida has a great bed side manner! Dr Guida has been my surgeon for the last five years. I highly recommend him. He is very knowledgeable, caring and compassionate. I have had numerous operations and medical procedures by him. His hands are like gold. I was highly satisfied with the results. His office is immaculate. His nurses and anesthesiologist are very professional and take the time to answer every concern. Dr Guida is a very thoughtful and kind person. Going to a Dr. is always a little bit nerve-wracking for me, but he and the staff took great care of me. Over the years I have seen many docs and med professionals for various reasons, and have come to believe that compassion and kindness is the key. It's the only way to know that a dr truly cares about you. I wholeheartedly recommend dr Guida as this very particular kind of compassionate, kind, and skilled doctor.

I came in because of a botched emergency lip repair after incurring a dog bite. Dr. Guida is incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and careful. The nurses are friendly and caring. The front desk staff is organized and accommodating. My experience was excellent. Every interaction in my 5 visits were positive and my results couldn't be better. I look completely normal now! Dr. Guida, such an outstanding doctor! He did my sinus surgery and my daughter who was 17 at the time! We breathe so much better thanks you this fine doctor! My husband has had several Mohs surgery on his nose and face, Dr. Guida did all the reconstruction surgery! My husband looks amazing and you don't see any scars! He is that amazing! His staff is exceptionable!

Dr Guida is an absolute Genius in his field. Compassionate, knowledgeable and outstanding. Dr Guida did my nose three years ago. I am very happy with the results. I did a lot of research in finding the right doctor and to do my procedure. I have trusted him to also do my three daughters procedures. They are extremely happy with their results as well.

Dr. Guida is a very experienced doctor. I went to observe and compared many doctors before I met him. He's a very warm-hearted person, gave me so much good advice, and patiently explained everything in detail. A truly qualified professional and a sincere friend. Having worked in plastics for years and seeing firsthand what is out there I can say with complete confidence Dr. Guida is an expert in the field of facial plastics. He is a true artist. Not sure who left that first review but she couldn't be more wrong. He and his staff took amazing care of me from beginning to end! I have had multiple procedures with him. It is honestly a shame that the first review that comes up is a negative one! SCROLL PAST IT because the rest are all wonderfully accurate as mine will be. I had the best experience with Dr. Guida and his staff. They went above and beyond at every visit to make sure I was comfortable and knew exactly what was going to be done. There were no surprises regarding the operation or post-op. Everyone there is extremely kind and professional. I am in love with my new nose!

I have wanted a nose job for a very long time, but for a reason or another I kept putting it off making excuses that I couldn't afford it when in reality it was fear that made me put it off for so long. Through my younger years I can remember specific instances where I was embarrassed about my profile: when driving and stopped at a light the driver in the car beside mine would glance at me I would turn away my face and try to hide my profile with my hair.
Over the years my self consciousness had become worse. Not wanting to wear my hair up for special occasions, I specifically instructed my wedding photographer not to take any profile shots of me on my wedding day 4 years ago, and many more times that I do not care to mention. When I first met with Dr Guida I felt really comfortable and secure, I knew I was great hands right away.
My nose and chin are absolutely beautiful he did an awesome job. Recovery was not bad at all, not being able to breath through the nose is definitely the worst part and some mild headaches for the first couple of days but I took my antibiotics and the painkillers at bed time so that they would help me sleep better. Bruising and swelling was mild to moderate, I will post some pics. Numbness in the chin area from the implant and some mild discomfort and bruising on my neck from the liposuction but it's gotten better and better everyday, just like Dr Guida said it would.
My nose looks amazing already only after 4 weeks and I can imagine how great it will look after I'm done healing completely. My only regret is that I didn't have this done sooner. All around definitely worth it! Couldn't have chosen a better doctor and staff! I'm in love with the way I look now!
