Dr. Jacobs is a highly skilled, experienced and patient surgeon. We met Dr. Jacobs in his practice in Manhattan in 2019 after we did extensive research about top surgery for our son. Dr. Jacobs designed his own tools for surgery and he did surgery on our son in a minimally invasive manner. Dr. Jacob was the only doctor qualified to perform such a painstaking procedure. Dr. Jacobs offered us a very personalized experience, and his staff was always readily available to assist us. Dr. Jacobs was always willing to answer any questions we had and made the pre surgery, the surgery and the recovery process as comfortable as possible.

Thanks to Dr. Jacob's top surgery our son is today a happier young man about to graduate from college. We will always be very grateful to Dr. Jacobs for contributing to our son's smooth gender transition process.

I was lucky enough to be able to schedule my surgery with Dr. Jacobs in his last few months in NYC. My consultation appointment to surgery date was only a month long. My surgery results are exactly what I hoped for, and I knew my instinct to choose him as my surgeon was spot-on. Dr. Jacobs was very welcoming and affirming. I am a non-binary person who is NOT on testosterone, and he understood what my goals were.

I am now 6 months post op my chest looks completely natural and I'm pretty much completely healed Surgery was quick and painless, I woke up with no drains, no grogginess, and had full conversations with everyone in the office before getting up and walking myself out. Recovery went perfectly with no complications, which is lucky, but your chances of having complications are much lower if you closely follow his instructions with the post-op compression garments. I couldn't have asked for a better experience nor surgeon than that of Dr. Elliot Jacobs and his team/staff. My time spent with him was very pleasant and to the point but don't let that discourage you from asking him any questions or bringing up your concerns because trust me, Dr. Jacobs is more than willing to sit down with you and help you step by step of the way.

And if by any chance after the appointment you may have any questions or concerns in regards to your procedure, payment, prescriptions, appointments, etc then his staff will be more than delighted to answer the phone and help out whichever way they can. My procedure went smoothly without any problems and the twilight sleep used (anesthesia) does wonders when it comes down to waking up and going about your day (which I advise against, just rest on your first day lol) but you could go out if you needed lol. which goes to show you how my experience during recovery went but after surgery you're immediately followed up by both Dr. Jacobs and his staff and they stay in contact with you up until you're cleared.

He's a surgeon who's been doing this for years and his team has been by his side throughout his journey/career, he's seen it all but he treats every case individually as if it were his first and for that reason I couldn't recommend him enough. Thank you again Dr. Elliot Jacobs and team/staff.

Dr. Jacobs is a very professional surgeon who used an effective surgical technique that produced an excellent result for my transgender son. The office staff is friendly with good communication. The doctors and nurses were welcoming and made my son feel at ease throughout the procedure which was performed in an accredited surgical suite within the Park Ave office, eliminating the need to be in a hospital setting.
