Dr Antell gave me life changing procedures. The confidence I now have makes me feel like. the real me. I came in for consultation having a good idea of what procedures I might need (I wanted to enhance my chin while reducing the volume of my cheeks), but it was Dr Antell's assessment that helped me finalize on the surgical plan (sliding genioplasty + buccal fat removal).

I had consulted with another doctor before who had proposed more aggressive plans, but I was immediately swayed towards Dr Antell because of his superior expertise (known for his chin surgeries since decades ago), which was apparent from the way he analyzed my case to me. It also helped that he mentioned he could help me achieve 99% satisfaction when the other doctor was afraid to promise more than 50%.

It was a lie though. because I got 300%! My recovery was not pain free, but it was unbelievable how minimal the surgery's damage was. I was expecting chipmunk cheeks and oversized chin from the reviews I read elsewhere, but no. My cheeks barely swole. There was practically 0 bruising or nerve damages (only some numbness). Considering I had bones in my face cut and moved, it was amazing how my face pretty much looked normal on day 8.

I think this is all thanks to Dr Antell's precise surgical skills. Also shout out to Nancy - the best nurse ever! I cannot appreciate enough how kind and caring she was when I came out of the surgery (I acted like a giant whiny baby). Everyone else at the office was all so sweet and polite as well. That really mattered when I was feeling insecure and in pain.

My face still looks subtly different everyday from continued recovery. I love my new look more and more day by day. I am so grateful to have met a doctor who gave me the correct assessment/surgical plan and executed it absolutely perfectly. I had doubts about buccal fat removal before because of the stories I heard about people's cheeks ended up too hollow/tired looking, but now that I am on the other side of the fence, I can see how it was the exact change I needed (and again, I am still blown away how Dr Antell so precisely took out the right amount of fat pads from each of my asymmetrical cheeks). Dr Antell has both the artistic sense and surgical skills it requires to create aesthetic looks.

People who know about my surgery commented that I look significantly better, but in an inconspicuous way (meaning, they would not have guessed I got plastic surgery). I knew I needed this change, but I did not expect it to turn out so well! I now have the dream face that I thought I could only get in my next life - from squared shaped, recessed chin and chubby cheeks to oval shaped and well proportioned. If only I had gotten this 10 years ago, I would've loved myself, and enjoyed life more, for 10 more years.

Everyone at Dr. Antell's office was pleasant, prompt, and so helpful. Dr. Antell is patient and great at explaining facts thoroughly. I have been to several dermatologists on the upper east side and this is the best experience I have had by far. Cannot recommend highly enough!

First and foremost, I had breast implants for 15 years successfully from a surgeon who no longer practiced. I was terrified when one ruptured (fearing the worst to remove and replace), but IT WAS TIME. I always knew I would go to Dr. Antell from what I have heard, read, seen and learned. He truly is the best. After the breast augmentation (which I scheduled 2 weeks after the rupture), I had minimal pain, only needing extra strength Tylenol for 1 day post op.

Then I was able to function normally after 2 days. I just couldn't believe it! He is gentle and great at what he does, as there was no sign of damage and thankfully no complications (Thank GOD!). "Smooth" is an understatement as far as how it all worked out! The many years of experience he has speaks for itself (which is the main reason why I chose him).

I knew I couldn't go wrong with Dr. Antell and my new breasts LOOK AMAZING and better than before thanks to him and his awesome team! PLUS I checked it all out prior, Anesthesiologists are board certified he is board certified and the In office suite/ operating room is certified. etc etc! Trust me, if you need breast implants or are thinking about it, he is the one to go to!

I saw Dr. Antell for Gynecomastia and Lipoma removal. Everything went exactly as described from the first consult and Dr. Antell and his staff were always delightful, competent, and helpful. The surgery went exactly as planned and they followed up regularly post-op and it was clear that they genuinely care about their patients. My confidence and comfort, and my satisfaction with the results, could not be higher. I am so happy I chose Dr. Antell and his team.

Dr. Antell was recommended to me by two dear friends of mine. He performed upper eyelid surgery ("Blepharoplasty") for me to remove excess skin which was droopy and crepey. He also performed buccal fat removal from my cheek area to subtly but effectively reduce the roundness/fullness of my face that has always bothered me. I never knew there was a solution to that until Dr. Antell described it to me! Dr. Antell and his office were extremely kind, attentive, professional throughout, from the pre-op, the surgery and the post-op care and follow-up. The anesthesiologist and the office accommodations were excellent. I highly recommend Dr. Antell and his staff!

We were so impressed with the whole process. The staff were really friendly snd helpful, fully explained the process from filling forms and the insurance side. They offered doing s virtual consult for the first appointment and requested we sent in close up photos of the area to be treated. I really wasn't sure how that would work for a removal procedure.

I was very surprised how thorough it was the Dr and his assistant, who is wonderful, had obviously looked at the photos before hand and explained what could be done and the likely outcome come. After this we had a call with the office to clarify costs etc, it was all very clear and we didn't feel anything was not disclosed. There was an in person appointment before the procedure to confirm everything and discuss any possible scaring so that we were very clear this could be a result.

Day of surgery everything went to plan, the after care was explained clearly plus follow up visits and frequency. The results have been incredible, almost no scaring on the face, you really have to look and know what your looking for to see anything, if at all. We highly recommend Dr Antell and would be extremely comfortable to go back for any further treatment/procedure. The office is very discreet, we never saw anyone other client whilst there, clients are moved between treatment room snd waiting room with discretion.

I had a fabulous experience with Dr. Antell and the staff at his office. They were so warm, welcoming and reassuring before, during and after my procedure - I could tell that I was in the care of a tenured professional and am incredibly happy with my results! When you arrive at this location, the building's doorman is accomandating and guides you to the office. Upon entering the office, you're greeted with warm friendly smiles and taken care of promptly. The waiting area is comfortable and calming with offers of refreshments and anything else for your comfort. The nursing, the administrative and support staff all compliments the extraordinary Doctor Antell.

He treats you like a celebrity and is very forthcoming about your options and plan of care. Dr. Antell has the operating and recovery room on premises for your convenience. After surgery, the after care is wonderful and addresses any concerns. Overall, this office is a place to consider for your cosmetic needs. I would highly recommend this 5 star establishment.

My experience in Dr. Antell's office was amazing. All the employees were professional and welcoming. I had a lipoma removal done and I'm very happy with my results. This is my second time getting a lipoma removal because the first time was done incorrectly somewhere else by another doctor. This time around, everything was explained to me with great detail, and he did such a great job that I know I won't have an ugly scar from this. I no longer have to feel insecure about my lipoma! So thank you to the Doctor and nurse who made sure everything came out successful!

Beautiful facility, amazing bedside manner, and I am absolutely in love with my results. I've known Dr. Antell for more than 25 years as a colleague as well as a patient. He is a meticulous and highly skilled plastic and reconstructive surgeon, who always considers the requests and needs of his patients. His office is managed efficiently and wait times are typically minimal, yet Dr. Antell will take all the time necessary to discuss surgical options with his patients. As a physician, I feel comfortable giving him the highest recommendation.

I wish I could give more than just 5 stars. The kindness and professionalism of Dr. Antell and his staff exceeded all expectations. One week after my daughters breast reduction and she (we) couldn't be happier with results. But it was more than just the amazing work that was provided. Lip lines. Vertical lip lines have bugged me for years. Topical treatments did not help. I finally decided to get professional help. Dr Antell performed a deep chemical peel on the lines. The procedure was quick, painless and recovery was fast. Now my lip lines are not noticeable. I can finally wear lip liner and lipstick, my lips finally look years younger.

Had a torn earlobe repaired by Dr Antell. He made the whole procedure pleasant and painless. His office staff is prompt and efficient. They made this a very pleasant experience. Would recommend this practice highly thank you Dr Antell

After going to a few surgeons for consultations on rhinoplasty I didn't feel comfortable. I went so prepared with pictures and different looks I loved and hated. I felt as though the surgeons prior weren't hearing me out or taking the time to see what I was really trying to achieve. I was finally referred to this surgeon Doctor Darrick Antell and I could not of had a better experience.

He was so thorough and sat with me and highlighted different things and instead of telling me what he thought, he showed me visually and took the pictures I brought and noted on them every thought or feeling I had about them. I thought it was such a good sign that a someone who is so intelligent and has years of experience took all of my time and research and appreciated it instead of not acknowledging it.

After really talking and discussing my concerns he told me what I want is very achievable and practical. I love how he was extremely up to date with the trends and with what is going on in the cosmetic world, but he was still old school which I personally loved. He was beyond personable, funny, helpful, very reassuring and I felt no pressure at all.

Dr. Antell is the absolute best. Any anxiety and nervousness about a procedure is immediately quelled by Dr. Antell and his staff, as they go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and well-informed. I have gotten buccal fat pad removal and cheek fillers done, and am overwhelmingly happy with the results--they're subtle, but change just enough to balance out my face and correct what I'm trying to fix.

Nobody has asked me if I've gotten anything done or changed anything, only that I look better, more well rested, etc :) Special shoutout to nurse Emerald for being the best nurse ever! I had vasovagal syncope following my fillers (which happens to me frequently but randomly) and she went the extra mile to get me cold water, fan me down, comfort me, and just generally be a great healthcare provider. After years of having stretched earlobes I went to Dr. Antell wanting a change. He was very kind and warm through the whole experience. Him and his assistant were talking me through it, though I could not feel a thing. I left there feeling comfortable with my choice of surgeon. but also that when my stitches would be removed that I would have the ears I wanted. He did not disappoint! To this day, people can't even believe just by the looks of my lobes, that they were even stretched at all. I'd recommend him to anyone!

Dr. Antell is the best in NYC! From the moment I walked into his office, I knew I was going to choose him to perform my procedure. His entire team is incredible and a pleasure to work with. Dr. Antell is truly talented, additionally, his bedside manner is excellent. He really took the time to get to know me and my objectives. I originally went for a consultation to remove one mole, however, Dr. Antell pointed out a few moles on my body that should also be removed (but my choice) and also sent to the lab for a biopsy.

Three weeks post surgery, my scars (on my face and body) are barely noticeable. While Dr. Antell did mention that I am healing really well, and that varies per individual, I believe the way he made the incisions and stitches were the cause of my amazing results. I highly recommend him, this was a beautiful experience!

Been there several times over the years and couldn't be happier. I'm an anxious worry wart, and surgery is no joke. Dr Antel has good taste and is very skilled. I saw him first for rhinoplasty and liposuction. My sister had surgery with him that same year. We only regret not doing it sooner! I have been Dr. Antell's patient for 20 years. He has done multiple cosmetic procedures over the years and I have been thrilled with the results of each. Dr. Antell is a gifted surgeon. However, his billing practices are nothing short of a disgrace. I had a cosmetic surgery done and also asked that he enhance two one inch scars from a previous surgery. For these two inch scars, the office billed my insurance company $39,000. As I agreed to allow them to collect from my insurance company, I never thought the system would be so abused by a doctor that was held in such regard. Quoting from the doctors who performed life saving surgery on me, "an absolute disgrace".

I had earlobe repair recently done by Dr. Antell and I couldn't be more pleased with the overall experience. From the beginning of the process to the end Dr. Antell and his staff provided me with the most caring and comforting service. It was a extremely easy procedure, however, I was pretty nervous. Dr. Antell and his nurse Michelle did a great job at distracting me and calming my nerves when the procedure took place. I am pleased with the turn out and highly suggest Dr. Antell.

Dr. Antell is very professional and his staff is very warm and welcoming. He consults you well, and makes you feel very comfortable. However, it seems that the procedures here are very pricy - a facial mole removal, which would have cost $600 - $1000 elsewhere in NYC, was almost $3000 here! Overall, I believe that he is a quality surgeon, just make sure to inquire about the price before you go in.

I found him online, wanted lip enhancement, decided to try temporary. The "doctor" injected something into my lips leaving pimple-looking bumps around my lips. That aaas about it. $750 was WASTED like i never wasted it before. Not just wasted, but I still have little holes around my lips. I tried to post my reviews online, but he threatened the online board owners with his lawyers and they just kept removing my reviews. I still have the holes around my lips, a few years later. There goes the "park ave. doctors" tale.

I'm a private person, and was not planning to write a review in this category. However, when I saw Dr. Antell's reviews, I felt compelled to contribute my experience because he is a five star doctor, not three. I spent over three months researching cosmetic surgeons, which eventually whittled down to five, which I met in person. Dr. Antell was the only doctor who did not take the pushy, car salesman approach.

He listened intently, answered all of my questions, and provided me with a sense of calm amid a nerve racking decision. His staff is also amazing, thorough, and incredibly professional from the first visit to the final check-in. My results were better than I could have ever imagined, and I have doctor Antell to thank.
