So back I went after two weeks. first, warmly greeted by Leia at the front desk. Waited about 15 minutes and this time, intern Chandler greeted me and ushered me into the examining room. Personable and obviously highly intelligent, he began taking down what I had to report, when Dr Boxrud came in and continued the interview. I reported that I was slightly better, but still now where we hoped I would be.

She again examined my eyes and provided assurance that we will "get there'. We discussed followup steps. I will try a new eye drop and, if not better, we will discuss the "cure" which is ptosis surgery. Gratified that she is trying conservative measures, rather that pushing to operate. Left again totally impressed with all aspects of this practice. She rocks!

I have seen Dr BOXRUD for over 20 years and she is a very Best eye Doctor and her Staffs Best in the World very helpful and Respectful. I have meets some Interim who I think were in a good with Dr. Boxrud because the Training the got from will be helpful in there future and God Blessed to pass it on to the Next New Doctors. Dr Boxrud is very Respectful and Explained Details about your Eyes and very Professional in the field.

Also Ms. Alex one of her Staff did a wonderful job with my Insurance to get my Eye Dropped I could not say how she help me to Approve my Medication. Dr. Boxrud is an excellent doctor who cares. I found her to be an outstanding surgeon. Her staff and she made sure that I was comfortable with the results. I highly recommend her.

This office is amazing. Called from Yelp. Person answering phone was kind, empathetic, and very helpful. They couldn't get me in today however, instead of asking me to come another day (I am having an eye infection emergency), Dr. Boxrud got on the phone with me and not only shared where I can go for immediate help, she provided me with the address and phone number as well as a contact persons name.

This is exceptional service. Again, please note, I am not their patient and just called out of the blue. Wish more companies operated with such high regard for everyone/anyone. Wish I could give more than 5 stars.

Dr Boxrud has "opened" my eyes (literally!) and made me look 10 years younger! I love her and would highly recommend her. She also performed plastic surgery on a torn eyelid for an officer involved in a car accident.did flawless work! I would highly recommend her!

Dr. Boxrud was extremely professional and knowledgeable. I was very pleased with her expertise and the results of the Botox procedure.

I've been seeing Dr. Boxrud for over 10 years and she's really helped me to age with confidence. As I've gone from my 40's to my 50's I feel like I look natural and pretty in a very age appropriate way. People are always shocked when I tell them my age and I have Dr. Boxrud to thank for that! She's also very personable and I look forward to seeing her.

I trust her completely to recommend treatments. She's also done a minor surgery and I healed very well and faster than expected. I can't recommend her highly enough!

Inexperienced interns handled my eye exams using archaic tests. The same vision tests I recall from when I was a child (I am in my 50's). Tests took a LONG time due to inexperience. I had to suggest to the intern that she sanitize the testing machine. She said, "oh yeah". Frazzled and chaotic office environment with yelling out orders in the rooms.

Not a peaceful, orderly environment on the day I had my appointment. I phoned on two separate occasions to follow up and both times different people said they would get back to me. However, I haven't heard a thing. Unfortunate as Dr. Boxrud is close to my home but I found different doctor who swiftly helped me out.

Loving life, loving my new look. Dr. Boxrud is truly a miracle worker. This was my first Juvederm treatment and I am beyond impressed.

EYELID LIFT. To start I have been Dr. Boxrud's patient for about 10 years. In all those years I have felt so cared for in the most professional manner. Dr. Boxrud did an eyelid lift for me to improve my vision 18 days ago. The whole experience has been positive from the beginning. The prep and the follow up have given me such comfort and confidence in the outcome.

The surgery itself was so smoothly done. I was prepped and made comfortable and given a local so there was no worry of anesthesia aftermath. The surgery itself was about 15 minutes per eye and I was given clear instructions on post surgery. I am so pleased and can see such a positive result. Dr. Boxrud is such an excellent surgeon. She was so careful in studying my eyes before marking for surgery. If there were more than 5 stars I would give them.

This woman DESERVES a book written about her. I cannot AFFORD HER, so I have no choice other than to be short and SWEET. I have known Dr. Boxrud since 2009. Many times I have FREAKED OUT because I left a contact in, slept and then it HURT MY EYE. Who calms me down? Dr. Boxrud. I am ROLLING MY EYES but ONLY because she knows how to calm me down. Dr. Boxrud is the ABSOLUTE SHIT.

I apologize for using that word, but this woman has taken care of my eyes like nobody other! You do not have to TRUST ME, Just go to her practice where she "PRIDES" herself on being AUTHENTIC- even if it comes to me (even though she should LOVE ME SO MUCH SINCE I BELIEVE I AM THE BEST THING SLICED BREAD).I AM am the BEST THING EVER.(ask my dog) on where if she tells you to NOT do something, BELIEVE her, as much as you want to be SO MAD at her.

She knows what she is doing. That's a good point to stop at. I LOVE DR. BOXRUD - as much as she tells me that she would kick me out of her office if i were "CRAZY". God bless this woman! DR. BOXRUD.

Dr. Boxrud does my botox/filler and is always super consistent. She believes less is more and doesn't give into beauty trends (massive lips, kardashian look etc.) that doesn't age well. I always leave the office feeling my best self!

I have been a patient of Dr. Boxrud's for over 2 years. She is the best. She takes her time with you. Let's you know what she feel needs to be done. She has a very calming way about her which then make you feel that way also. I would highly recommend this doctor to anyone who has to have any eye surgeries.

I don't really like this Dr. Cynthia at all, she was not thoughtful in my health nor in my concerns. I wouldn't recommend her at all.

She is an amazing, caring doctor. She will give you an honest opinion and her work is beautiful. I went to her for problems with my tear ducts so it was more medical. She fixed the problem delicately and with ease. I love her cosmetic work and actually look forward to the day I'll get a face lift instead of dreading it like a lot of people do.go and see her she's so nice on top of everything. :

Doctor Boxrud is an absolute angel. I'm beyond grateful I found her on Yelp. I had a stye that wouldn't go away, I took multiple rounds of antibiotics prescribed by a well known optometrist. It eventually turned into a Chalazion. After the 3rd round and no answers, I found Doctor Boxrud. She diagnosed it immediately, and even came into the office on a Saturday to perform an emergency surgery.

She knew I was stressed out and nervous, and called me to check in from her cell later that day. I adore this woman. Added bonus, she has an awesome sense of humor, and excellent taste in fashion. Shoutout to the residents- they're also the best and make you feel super comfortable. I agree with the other reviews - I wish I could go to her for everything. Thank you so much Doctor Boxrud.

Dr Boxrud performed a neck and jowl procedure on me about 7 years ago and still today it looks amazing! She is an artist and what was important to me was that I only wanted to look better! She exceeded my expectation! Now I have fillers when needed and again I look natural. Thank you Dr Boxrud!

I cannot recommend Dr. Boxrud enough. She is the type of person who would excel at anything she puts her mind to. If she sold donuts. I would go buy her donuts (and I don't even eat donuts). She was part of a team of doctors who saw me in the ER at St. John's following a huge cycling accident. I was pretty beat up. It wasn't until I saw her for one of my follow ups that I fully realized what a gem she is. smart, hip, savvy, confident, efficient, knows her stuff.

You feel you are in good hands when she works with you. She works with professionals at both St. John's Hospital and UCLA. so she is around an amazing peer group. It all adds up to a great experience. Thanks Dr. Boxrud!

Dr. Boxrud is fabulous. I wish I could go to her for everything. She's super smart, fabulous, savvy and just a great doc. I went to her for an eye infection and she held my hand throughout even though it was just a minor event, she gave me a lot of time and attention. I hear she's great for botox and fillers and eye bags and I plan to go there.

Dr. Boxrud has been my advisor for 10 years and has been the key person that has helped me to age gracefully. Whatever the need I trust her implicitly and have referred her too many friends. Her advise has been priceless, service amazing and the way she cares about each individual in a time where doctors don't spend the time necessary to get to know what important to you is why I am a loyal client. Whatever your need is make sure Dr. Boxrud is one of the people you interview. The results will show up and you will be happy you did.

Dr Boxrud and her staff are so kind and professional. I received such good care here and will continue to bring my eye needs to her. I was able to have a surgical procedure that has been long time overdue. This procedure has made such a positive impact on my well being and I am so thankful.

Seriously be careful when looking to have any surgical work with this physician. In my opinion, she needs to stick with eye exams and possibly Botox (as noted in other reviews for her great Botox skills). I went to see her for an eye infection, she told me she could correct previous eye surgery and that it would only get worse with time if not corrected.

I stupidly believed her! Not only did she totally destroy my face, but she had to get another surgeon in to fix her work. To add insult to injury, like another "Yelper", she also left skin in each corner that needed a second surgery. She cost me a lot of time, pain, and my insurance company thousands of dollars which in my opinion she should never have charged.

You read the subtext here. This is LA, and there are soooo many more - most likely less expensive, as well - surgeons in So Cal who are talented, skilled, and will not try to bill you after the fact for ridiculous charges due to her mistake. Caveat Emptor - you've been warned.

Amazing Caring Doctor - so hard to find these days most just seem to do it for the money. Plus she knows her field like a true expert!
