Dr. Bal Bagwat, the Plastic Surgery Director at Menlo Park Plastic Surgery Center, was born in New York, trained at Stanford Hospital, and has practiced plastic surgery for over 20 years in Menlo Park. Dr. Bagwat is Board Certified in Plastic surgery and is an ambulatory surgery center inspector in California for the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities(AAAASF).
Facelift is an excellent procedure to improve the contour of the neck, jowls and cheek areas. We take great care in preoperative planning to optimize repositioning of the sagging cheek fat, tightening of the facial and neck tissues to achieve a natural youthful appearance. The tissues are repositioned vertically and not stretched laterally in the direction of the ear.
The pre and postoperative photographs which follow are from Menlo Park Plastic Surgery Center's teaching file. For minor contour defects and wrinkling, non-surgical modalities such as Botox or fillers may provide satisfactory improvement. Post-operative breast augmentation using saline implants placed under the pectoralis major muscle via infra-areolar incisions.
