Dr Greenberg is a gifted talented plastic surgeon. She is kind, professional and compassionate. I came to her for a tummy tuck for functional reasons. After weight loss and seven hip surgeries I was having trouble bending down to tie my shoes. Boy, did she work her magic on me! She has the experience and natural ability to sculpt the human body. I would highly recommend her for your plastic surgery.

Great Doctor. I known her since my first surgery back in 2009 when I did my breast implants. Now I went back with her to make a breast augmentation and tummy tuck and all I can say I LOVE THE RESULTS. Dr Greenberg has Great art skills and she is passionate about her work, very professional and hones.

Dr. Lauren Greenberg is so real, to the point and very knowledgeable when it comes to human anatomy and her craft. I trusted her immediately and she was able to achieve exactly what I was hoping for. I had implants that had migrated due to poor support, tons of exercise and a chest wall that is slanted which over time the implants slid towards my armpits leaving absolutely no fullness where I wanted it. she exchanged my old implants for slightly bigger however how she used mesh and some manipulation of my breast pocket so that this won't happen again was pretty amazing.

All of her advice and detailed work has made an amazing difference in how my Breasts look and I won't have the same problem again. She doesn't sugar coat anything And I think that is what I appreciated the most. I highly recommend her and she just has a great eye for aesthetic.

Six years later and I'm still such a fan of Dr. Greenberg. I know there are plenty of talented plastic surgeons in the Bay Area, but I wouldn't trust anyone else. She's perfected fat grafting like few others and the results are truly amazing. Plus she's just a really kind and caring person. I trust her implicitly and that's a real find with any doctor.

I called today to arrange a consult appointment for my 17 year old who has a fatty tissue mass on her inner knee that was recently discovered, and needs to be removed most likely by liposuction. The receptionist told me when I called this morning around 11am that she would ask the doctor if she could do this type of procedure. I told her we were referred from UCSF to plastics for this, so it should be something she can do a consult for.

By 4pm, no call back. So I called again, same receptionist, tells me she has my name and number and she will talk to the doctor to ask if she can make an appointment. I asked when she planned to do this, she said, "Today.or tomorrow." She then said that the doctor is really busy and she might not have time for this, and that she only does cosmetic procedures, but maybe she could give us a referral.

I again explained that this is a cosmetic procedure, and we didn't want a referral elsewhere. The reason we had reached out was because it looked like she had an expertise in liposuction given that she has a blog about it. She then said that the doctor is booked on her consult appointments until FEBRUARY anyway! (5 months from now)-and she couldn't even book one without asking the doctor. Needless to say, I told her thank you anyway. Completely frustrating experience, and if you want to see a plastic surgeon for a consult before February, call someone else!

I can't say enough about Dr. Greenberg. She was so very thoughtful in the care she provided. She took the time to listen and answer all my questions with patience and honesty. Making the decision to have a cosmetic procedure was both an exciting and scary experience so it was very comforting to have a surgeon that made time to make sure I understood everything before, during, and after my procedure. If I ever decide to have another procedure, I will definitely go back to Dr. Greenberg.

I can not say enough good things about Dr. Greenberg. I have had a few both necessary and elective surgeries so I have had experience at being a surgery patient. Dr. Greenberg helped my wife with an issue inside her upper leg. Not only she took care of it in a way than no other Dr. proposed for 20 years. She also avoided her from doing non necessary operations. While results were already outstanding immediately after the operation, After months, the results are even better. Simply amazing. I feel a little weird about posting a review for a plastic surgeon - but in the same way reading these reviews helped me choose Dr. Greenberg, I feel like I owe it to the community to give back. I consulted Dr. Greenberg to repair skin and muscle damage that I incurred from being overweight as a kid. I lost around 70 lbs over 10 years ago - about 40% of my body weight - and my body never bounced back.

Not wanting to enter my 30's without ever seeing the results of my hard work, I decided to see Dr. Greenberg for a tummy tuck and arm lift. I consulted other surgeons as well, but what stood out to me about Dr. Greenberg is her honesty. While other doctors tried to sell me on both procedures, Dr. Greenberg told me that the arm lift was "not worth it", given the level of skin laxity and the challenges she's seen with patients over the many years she's practiced. I've been a patient of Dr Greenberg's for 15 years. I started with her when I lived in SF, and now live in Europe. There's a reason why I cross and ocean (and a continent) to still see her -- she's one of the finest doctors I've met. And I've interviewed plenty, all over the world. She has a rare combination of incredible professionalism and compassion.

She won't talk down to you, or be dismissive, as many other doctors do. And she is a world-class doctor -- as you'll see from other reviews, her work is outstanding. As the reviewer S.M. confirms, the medical community in the Bay Area recognises her extraordinary skill, and she has many long-term patients, which gives you an idea of her caliber. I am sure that she'll be to capacity soon, and that appointments will be hard to get, so I'd get on her preferred patient list now.

As promised, an update now that I've had a procedure. Dr. Greenberg has helped me with some very serious keloid scars and we are in the process of revising them by redoing the incisions. She's been super meticulous in doing a test section first and observing it for months, and soon we'll do more because the small section she revised has healed much better than the scars from the original operation done by another doctor.

Beyond that, I have so appreciated her professionalism, compassion and commitment to fixing scars left by another doctor's surgery. The surgeon I saw before Dr. Greenberg was dismissive and minimized my very reasonable discontent with the results of the surgery he did, and to have Dr. Greenberg validate my feelings about how my scars look and show genuine care in doing what she can to improve them has meant a lot.

Numerous times she's said, "You're too young to settle for this result. Let's see what we can do to make this better." And that's been such a relief after two years trying to talk myself into accepting wide, raised and long scars.

I can only say that if you are even thinking about doing anything to your body or face you must see Dr. Greenberg! She is absolutely amazing! I am so beyond happy with my results. I just can't even believe it! Dr. G is a surgical artist! She completely transformed my breasts with her breast lift surgery. And did an amazing job doing a fat transfer to my face! The good: My results are fantastic. I still look like me, just much much better. I love that Dr. Greenberg gave me all of my options and helped me come up with treatment that would get me the result I want. I initially just wanted to do one specific thing, but she helped me understand that it would not give me the results I wanted. She was able to do this without making me feel pressured.

She is honest--she tells it like it is. The bad: I am not too wild about the surgery center--they need an update. My advice: Just get started. Don't try to decide what you need all by yourself--that is why we have surgeons like Dr. Greenberg!

I searched and interviewed doctors all over the bay area to do a cosmetic procedure on my face. After meeting with all the doctors, I chose Dr. Lauren Greenberg. I completely trust her. I met with Dr. Greenberg more than once and she was always professional, available, up to date, scientifically current and most importantly wanted to know my opinions about what I wanted to accomplish -- never hurried.

Isn't that what you want from a cosmetic surgeon? She is super kind and just plain sweet. Dr. Greenberg is an artist. I never felt hurried and she had great ideas and opinions about state of the art surgery, the biology of healing and cosmetic repair gadgets. Her office assistant, Justine, is the sweetest too. Extremely cordial practice. I will be a repeat customer for Dr. Greenberg and really happy and lucky to have met this artist who happens to be a fantastic cosmetic surgeon. WooHoo!

UPDATE 5/25/2011: An employee of Dr. Greenberg sent me a PM on Yelp asking me about my language and asked me if I kiss my mother with that mouth (It was a Kanye West quote grandma!). I called the office and confronted her and she said she was going to call the police for harassing her. WTF? You started to harass me first! I just had to clarify that it was someone (Patty M.) from Dr. Greenberg's office and it turned out to be true!

Can you believe that? Unbelievable! So, I'll be more CLEAR on my surgery -- I had my breasts done by Dr. Greenberg and she left me TONS of scars. I mean. ALL OVER! They came from an infection from what she claims, "Cheap bandages from the surgery center that she uses and it was not her fault" even though "It happens all the time". She said I must have been allergic to them. NOT TRUE.

I am not allergic to anything - this is my second breast augmentation and the first time went FLAWLESS! I COMPLETELY regret going to Dr. Greenberg and I've shedded MANY tears over this. She gave me 2 options: Use bleaching cream OR she can cut me up again to eliminate the scars. which would give me more scars. Only an idiot would choose the latter. Soooooo. for people who are wanting reviews on breast implants, I would suggest going elsewhere.

The best place to go and do research are topless bars. find the breasts you like and buy the girl a drink and ask her about them and the doctors she consulted with. Heck - I know there aren't topless bars around here, but Santana Row might be your next best bet. :) Don't be like me and let her "Stanford grad" crap blind you. Stupid people go to Stanford all the time. Applause to Dr. Greenberg for her education - but jeers to her experience. BTW - just for Patty M. - not only am I going to blast these photos of my scarred breasts on blogs, but also on Flickr with description and tags.
