Jessica is a board certified Nurse Practitioner and a skilled cosmetic injector with extensive experience in the latest techniques of minimally invasive aesthetic rejuvenation. Prior to joining Specialists in Plastic Surgery of Pittsburgh, Jessica specialized in medical aesthetics in the greater Boston area, utilizing a wide array of minimally invasive technologies to better serve her patients. These therapies included laser treatments, skin tightening technologies, nonsurgical fat reduction techniques, and injectable therapies.

If I could rate over 5 stars I would! Dr. Avery is the most caring, kind and intelligent doctor I've ever met. He takes his time explaining everything and you can truly tell how much he cares for his patients! I had septo-rhinoplasty done and he is a miracle worker! I would trust him with legit anything! He and his staff are wonderful and so pleasant! Lucky to have them here in Pittsburgh 10/10 recommend! :

Dr. Capone is a the only doctor I would see to have a breast augmentation! I came to see him in 2011 and i couldn't be happier with the results! Can you believe 10 years later and they still look how they did on day one! I've never had any complications! He is also such a kind doctor and really makes sure you are comfortable and safe through the entire process! Thank you!

Dr. Capone recently performed my first and only surgery to date due to what he identified as a former injury/trauma. I work 7 days a week in a 24/7 type of business and have very little free time so I needed a location that was convenient. I chose this facility as it is 2 minutes away from my home. I was extremely inquisitive with both the staff and Dr. Capone as I had never had any type of medical procedure before and was really quite concerned.
They were exceptionally patient and answered my many questions. My work schedule varies greatly and they are a busy facility yet accommodated my ever changing schedule with kindness and professionalism. Betsy, Jolene, the entire front office and surgical staff were magnificent. The morning of my surgery I felt as if I were checking into the Ritz Carlton for the day not a medical facility!
I never thought I would describe surgery as pleasure but it really was. Dr Capone personally called me after my surgery, on a holiday, to inquire about my recovery. We are extremely fortunate in Pittsburgh to have many exceptional medical options for healthcare. The Shadyside Surgi-Center is definitely one of those exceptional facilities.

Wonderful staff, great experience before, during, and after surgery. I feel taken care of. I had a benign tumor removed from my thumb. Due to a death in the family, I had to get the stitches removed at a different place down in Florida. The nurses couldn't believe how tightly the stitches were and were genuinely impressed with the workmanship. Check out my photos - a month after the surgery I don't even see a scar aside from a barely-there shine where the incision was. Thank you Dr. Capone, Jan, Victoria, Paula, and others who made this an easy process!

I had a breast reconstruction and Dr. Capone and his staff were wonderful. Dr. Capone is very concerned with safety and has an almost non-existent infection rate. I recomend a private surgical suite to anyone considering plastic surgery. He also gave me time and attention I've never had with another surgeon. I just love this place and doctor and staff.
