NewFace Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit organization founded by Dr. Paul Howard over 20 years ago to benefit children born with facial deformities. The Foundation has funded medical expenses and procedures that Dr. Howard couldn't donate himself such as orthodontics, speech therapy, hearing aids, and purchased equipment and donated thousands of dollars to the Children's Hospital of Alabama.
Breakthroughs in facelift and mini facelift have been driven by the requests of our patients. Today, these conversations about aging and facial rejuvenation go something like this: First and foremost patients prefer no general anesthesia with its costs and complications including difficulty waking up, post-operative nausea and vomiting, blood pressure swings and not being able to take all of their normal medications the morning of surgery. They also want less invasive procedures with less down-time and less conspicuous scars.
One of the single most disturbing manifestations of facial aging is the loss of volume in the lips, lack of lip support, due to dental issues and bone resorption, and lengthening of the upper lip with concomitant vertical wrinkles causing lipstick "bleed." The primary problem is usually the loss of lip volume for which many solutions have been proposed.

Dr. Howard was not personable at all. he came in and made all of the promises of what things would go like for me and they did not. He performed what was suppose to be a lipo abdominoplasty but the work was done very poorly. Ive had several complications throughout the process and they never even seem much sincere In the apology. Since I've had the surgery back in Sept I never saw him again through any of the complications but only saw the girls in his office. my Drains were removed way to early which caused several complications for me and they also left staples inside of my incision which caused skin to grow over the staples in my incision.
The office is now closed due To health issues of Dr. Howard. He still owes me post op appointments and massages and to see that the procedure wasn't done up to the expectations he set. I feel like this is definitely abandonment and I would not recommend to anyone ever. Not that he can do anything now because he is ill.

Dr. Howard is a top plastic surgeon in Birmingham, AL. I first went to him in 2013 for a surgical procedure. The results I got from Dr. Howard were simply amazing and gave me years of beauty and personal confidence and happiness. I know that I cannot attribute those results to anything but to the skill of Dr. Howard's hands. I went back to him for the same procedure two weeks ago and I could not not be happier with the results.
I hesitated about my timing, but from the very first call into his office, I felt confident about my decision to come back to Dr. Howard. The magic of his hands is there as it was in 2013. Dr. Howard and his staff are absolutely wonderful, caring, nice. After the procedure I have been treated with kindness and I feel reassured. I could not be happier with my results again this time. I have worked with Dr. Howard and admired his work. When it was time to get a facelift, I chose him. I told him of my concerns and when all was healed, I still had the same problem. So, I paid more money for him to repair exactly what I didn't like and he still didn't fix the problem. Pamela is a huge asset to his business but I think Dr. Howard has lost his touch and his sarcasm has lost humor. I would not recommend Dr. Howard any longer. #retire

I met Dr. Howard and his staff when I went in for botox. The plastic surgeon I had used for botox years passed away and I decided to try Paul Howard after looking at his web site. I'm so glad I happened upon it as I've been very pleased with the results of his work. Most recently I had fat transfer to my face which has turned out very well. An older acquaintance of mine had a face lift, a couple of years ago, by dr Howard, and her outcome appears excellent, in my opinion. Another(younger) friend recently went to him and I am thrilled for her, as her results are absolutely wonderful! Dr Howard is not your average/usual doctor!
On the contrary, he's very open and surprisingly personable and will take time to talk with you if you want that. Or you can get in and out very quickly. His office staff (office manager is his wife) is efficient and they, too, are very personable. Of course the most important thing is that he is highly skilled. His office is so easily accessed. right off highway 31 in Hoover behind full moon barbeque and across 31 from Krispy Kreme. I am happy to highly recommend dr. Howard from my personal results and those of my 2 friends.

I had a breast augmentation over a year ago by Dr. Howard. He and his staff are amazing. He listens to you and does his best to achieve what you desire. He has great bed side manner. His staff is very sincere and caring. I will be seeing him soon for a tummy tuck. I highly recommend him for any plastic surgery needs.

I had a breast augmentation 6 weeks ago and couldn't be happier. The staff and Dr. Howard was very professional. They helped answered all my questions and kept me comfortable during my healing stage. I freaked out at first because one breast sat higher than the other (which is totally normal in the beginning) and Dr. Howard kept telling me to be patient it would be perfect, which it is.
I went with 650 CC silicone implants and I could not be happier. I am looking forward to having A tummy tuck with Dr. Howard this Fall. Also, I do have scaring. My scars sit perfectly in the folds and the bottom of my breast and are not visible at ALL unless I lift my breast purposely to see. I'm surprised my scars are as small as they are. Couldn't have chosen a better doctor.

I will never forget as parents trying to find answers to our questions and fears with a daughter that had just been born with a bilateral cleft palate the feeling of confidence that Dr Howard projected to us on our very first visit. He was positive, compassionate, and so kind to us, we came there with trepidation, and many fears, and left knowing it would be ok.
It is now over 25 years after that first visit and many, many times since then I have seen a person who has had a cleft palate repair and inwardly told myself I'm sorry they didn't have Dr Howard do the surgery, I have seen few palate and lip repairs that I feel are up to the first class results that our daughter received.

Oh. This man. I cannot say how grateful I am to him & his staff. He is absolutely amazing. 20 years ago, I had a cleft pallet surgery. The surgery was a great success! He give me my life in a sense of saying. He gave me the gift of speech. He is truly a remarkable surgeon & an all around amazing person! I remember as a child being scared to death to see another doctor wondering what they were going to find that time as I had been to so many. He gave me peace and comfort that no other doctor had given! If there were more stars to be given, he would get them all!
