Hair loss doesn't just make a change on your scalp. It can also impact your self-confidence when dealing with others as well as the way you view your appearance (self-image). Hair loss can be the result of hormonal changes, medical conditions, hereditary between generations and even the result of taking certain medications.
Male hair loss, also known as male pattern baldness, is the most common type of hair loss in men. It usually presents itself with a receding hairline or thinning of the hair on the top and crown of the head. The exact timeframe of how long it takes patients to lose their hair is unknown. While environmental factors can accelerate the process of balding, typical active hair loss can take anywhere from 10-20 years as the hair continues to thin and miniaturize before the balding process is complete.Gender -You have to either be a man or have a hormonal imbalance (with respect to sex hormones with elevated male hormones similar to a man).
Much like women, men have been judged over the years for their appearance. From a stylish outfit to being in shape to a healthy head of hair, the overall appearance of a male can influence the way he is perceived by others. The importance of our appearance to others is one of the big reasons male hair loss can deal a huge blow to the self-esteem of men.

Scar (Burn) Scalp Revision FUE Procedure
Burns on the scalp that cause scarring to the scalp can be helped with FUE Hair Transplants.
Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) can often be utilized in scalp scar revision in order to:
Bring a greater amount of hair into the scar
Remove or minimize the density of hair that surrounds the scar location
Perform both tasks listed above
No matter which method is chosen by the surgeon, FUE hair transplant surgery minimizes the contrast between the scar area and surrounding scalp and can effectively improve the appearance of the scar.
In this video, Dr. Parsa Mohebi of Parsa Mohebi Hair Restoration tells us all about how he will be using FUE to help a woman regain a full hair appearance to her scalp scar. Keep watching to see what goes into this procedure.

Dr. Mohebi is a gem. He and his staff are super sweet and went over everything needed to prepare for my significant other's hair transplant. He answered all of our questions and addressed concerns truthfully as well. He had his hair transplant surgery in June. Immediately afterwards, if assuming all the hair grafts stick, his hairline is going to look tremendous. 2 and a half months later, some of the hairs are already starting to come in very early too.
We weren't expecting anything to come in so early so it's very encouraging. Dr. Mohebi and his Beverly Hills office staff have answered a couple of questions we've had post surgery too. We're excited to see the results in another 10-16 months and will update here.

The staff were all very pleasant and personable. They made sure that I am comfy all the times. They were very professional and friendly which made me so relaxed. I was so comfortable that I didn’t realize that they’re already implanting grafts. Dr. Parsa Mohebi made sure that they exceed all of my expectations. They are the coolest medical people around.
Their place was amazing that you would think you’re in a hotel not in a clinic room waiting for a procedure. I recommend Dr. Mohebi to all of my friends with low hairlines.

I never knew the kind of committment that goes into professional hair restoration until I met the Dr. Gujrati at Parsa Mohebi Hair Restoration. These guys are taking everything to a whole new level using state of the art equipment, modern techniques, and a courteous customer service team. They gave me the most satisfying experience in a lifetime. I'm looking more fashionable after getting their services, by the way.

Living in the high stress San Francisco area working in tech has definitely contributed to my hair falling our. That, and my hair genetics in my family are terrible. My hairline had been receding and I figured I'd take a shot getting a hair transplant. Over the years I tried Minoxidal, special shampoos, and propecia, and I was getting the most minor of results from it.
But I feel like I started too late. So I paid a visit to Dr. Mohebi's San Francisco hair transplant office in early March of this year, right before the Coronavirus. After I got my surgery, we're a little over 6 months in and I'm so ecstatic with my results. I owe part of my happiness today in life to Dr. Parsa Mohebi in his team, and though about him today and thought I should leave this review.
If you are on the fence about if you think a hair transplant will work for you, look at some of the before and after pictures on his website of some of the patients he has helped. I compared myself with others who had similar hair loss, and I'm certainly on the same trajectory as some of the "after" pictures of some of his patients.

I had a hair transplant at Dr. Mohebi's office in San Francisco by his lead doctor Dr. Manu Gujrati. It's been a few months and my hair is already starting to fill in, far fast than I would have ever thought. I've spent a lot of time on his site looking at the before and afters and am super excited for my full results in a few more months

Dr. Mohebi and his office are truly the best in hair restoration. I did plenty of research prior to coming to Dr. Mohebi's San Francisco office. Read reviews of his work, watched videos of his, checked out before and afters, and I compared that to other doctors around California. I believe I went to the best hair transplant doctor around. It's been a bit over two months now, and earlier than expected, the transplant hairs are starting to come in. Would recommend taking a consultation with Dr. Mohebi's awesome team if you are dealing with hair loss.

I've waited 8 months to write this review, and the reason for waiting was I wanted to see results before posting. My procedure was done in May 2019 and as of today I could not be happier. I filled in the front and crown. Now I actually have hair where there was a bald spot on my crown. Dr. Mohebi delivered exactly what was promised. The procedure itself was very easy and Dr. Mohebi is amazing. The office staff is also very accommodating, specially Niki. I have sent a couple friends to this office already and would definitely recommend you check them out.

If you're at all thinking about getting a transplant, do yourself a favor and meet with Dr. Mohebi ASAP. He and his staff are wonderful and make sure you're as comfortable as possible before, during, and after the procedure. The scheduled timeline for what you can expect to happen after the surgery and when is spot on. I'm very pleased with the results and you will be too.

From the intital consultation until today (almost 6 weeks since the procedure), Dr. Mohebi and his staff have been extremely professional and have been excellent to deal with. I was made fully aware of what to expect and with every step of the way I have been highly impressed with Dr. Mohebi's operation. I highly recommend Dr. Mohebi and in fact will be sending multiple friends to him. Thank you Dr. Mohebi!

Ive been consulted at many hair transplant clinics and there are certain tips you should know to understand if that doctor is going to deliver what you deserve, 1) Are they up to date with technology and have their own patented and specific method of transplants? or have they been doing it the same way they have the past 5 to 7 years? Does the doctor have any research focus or not? Example; Today, the only advanced method being done is FUE with no scars after head shave, where they used to cut the skin since preserving all follicles wasn't possible before! 2) Is everything in that clinc governed and operated by one doctor which brings the soul value of how it should be done?
Or is it a money generating franchise with many doctors that is just good in giving deal packages? 3) Does your doctor consult you how many hair follicles, which direction, and what focused area in the bold spots should be transplanted more to have a better potential in the overall fullness? Or is it a simple pick and place? 4) Are you consulted to understand how many surgeries you might need to meet your expectations, and how many follicles are done per surgery to reach that? Hint: each surgery room has an overhead fixed cost in clinics that comes directly out of the patiens pockets, make sure you are getting enough follicles transplanted in a shorter time period that is safe and convenient.
Dear readers, I was in the wrong room too until a friend of mine suggested Dr. Mohebi, and I understood what I really want is what I deserve. Dr. Mohebi is a well respected and educated man and takes pride in what he does, please go along to many places with these 4 hints and you shall see Dr. Mohebi is raising the bar in hair restoration every year. You cannot go wrong if you have chosen hair transplant as an option for boldness.

Very pleased with my results. Dr. Mohebi was very thorough & detailed with information (initial researching) and later in the consultation. Bottom line: Everything Dr. Mohebi said about the procedure, the timing, the progress and the finished product came true. No surprises! Glad of that. Did a lot of research before I pulled the trigger on any doctor of this type. In the end, I chose Dr. Mohebi for his prior patient (results/reviews) and his detailed and thorough approach. Check out my before & afters. Happy.

I've undergone a total of 4 surgeries, 2 with Bosley, 2 w/ Parsa Mohebi. The first went ok, the second I regret. The suture job was terrible. I have a permanent scar that's easily visible unless my hair is.8 inches or more long. The scar is strange, too. On one end there's a nickel sized area where no hair grows. There are also keloid-like abnormalities (abnormally shaped scarred tissue) spread across the length of the scar.
I followed everything by the byook after every procedure. Mr. Mohebi said I can come in and he could fix it up. I don't know he could patch up this scar on the donor are. Cut another hole in my head to implant grafts in the donor area? I have a slight case of psoriasis now along the scarred area and little sensation. His service was cheap, so I could say I got what I played for. I sincerely regret having done this last procedure with him.

My life had become restricted to wearing hats whenever I didn't want to spend an hour plus on getting my hair presentable. Days of going into the water at the beach or pool were also in the past, as my hair product such as Toppik or DermMatch (concealing products) would come out in the water. I also happen to be an actor, and my hair loss was hindering me from taking further projects.
I was far too self-conscious about someone discovering my secret. I had hid the fact that I was balding for so long, that it was as though I had to keep up the illusion. Either, I had to embrace my baldness down the road, or I had to find a solution. I started researching online hair restoration surgery and procedures. With thorough research I set up my first consultation with Dr. Parsa Mohebi located in LA (Encino and Beverly Hills). Honestly, getting over the fear of the first consultation was the biggest hurdle.
There is a $150 consultation fee, however this fee gets applied toward the actual hair procedure. And it is 100% worth it. Upon meeting Dr. Mohebi, all of my nerves and apprehensions immediately went away. Dr. Mohebi is very kind, and truly cares about his patients and the artistry of his work. He is open and honest, and will give you the best options for you while also being realistic.
It turned out I was Class VI baldness, and in time my hair would continue to vanish. The best option for myself, for the amount of coverage I needed was the strip procedure to allow a much larger amount of grafts during one procedure. Upon leaving the doctor's office and feeling very comfortable with this decision, I chose to have my surgery two months later.
The goal was 2500+ donor grafts and up to 3000 if possible. The surgery day took roughly 10 hours, but his amazing time put me at ease, and went by quickly. They provide meals, as well as dvd library to take your mind off of the procedure. With local anesthesia, I found my procedure painless. Over the months following, my hair has grown in beautifully, and it has exceeded my expectations.
I recently met with Dr. Mohebi for my 8 month follow up, and I am now scheduled for my a 2nd surgery next month, where they will perfect the front hairline, and add density to the crown. I again will be doing the strip method to allow more coverage, at 2,000+ grafts. I look forward to the results.

I have researched for years and thankfully found Dr. Mohebi. I had consulted with several hair transplant surgeons prior to coming to the Parsa Mohebi Hair Restoration. After the initial consultation, I was convinced beyond any doubt that I wanted Dr. Mohebi to perform the procedure. The reasons I chose Dr. Mohebi are as follows. Dr. Mohebi has a tremendous amount of experience under his belt and has been producing consistent results over an extended period of time.
His knowledge about hair restoration is impeccable. He has developed several techniques/methods that increase the accuracy and efficiency of hair restoration. He is extremely humble yet confident and down-to-earth every time I had the chance to talk to him. He kept my expectations realistic and did not over promise like other doctors I have talked to. Dr. Mohebi is a member of The American Board of Hair Restoration Surgeons and The International Alliance of Hair Restoration Surgeon (an organization that selectively screens skilled and ethical hair transplant surgeons.) I had 3000 grafts FUE procedure.
The procedure wasn't very uncomfortable. The local anesthetic injections were the worst part of the procedure. After the injections, I didn't fill any anything. Dr. Mohebi made all of the incisions in the recipient area and he also did part of the extractions himself. Dr. Mohebi and his highly experienced technicians worked tirelessly throughout the entire procedure and were checking my vitals, asked me if I'm comfortable, or if I had any pain during the whole process.
The entire experience was nothing short of exceptional and perfect in every way. I could not be happier with the results so far. Everything looks completely natural. If you're thinking of undergoing a hair transplant, Dr. Mohebi is your guy.

Very shocked to see even 1 bad review on here. I'm so happy with Dr. Mohebi that I'm returning this Winter to get a 2nd procedure! The first, went amazing. I chose FUE because I didn't want a scar, which meant less grafts were able to be utilized. However, they still were able to secure over 2200 new friends on my head. I was 25 when I got this done so. it meant the world to me.
The way I got discovered this man was by doing a year of due diligence, and when I came across his name, I started seeing it more and more on all the hair forums. I was convinced that he was the Da Vinci of hair and there was no one else for me. So my hair went from looking receding to looking normal. Now I'm aiming for Justin Bieber status.;- Here's before: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f19w2km-rP0 Here's after: www.instagram.com/marcrichterduh/ Thanks X 1,000,000 to Dr. Mohebi as well as his entire staff. Their personability and professionalism mirrors their skill.

I have (potentially) pretty severe hair loss, and I wanted to combat that as soon as I knew there was an option for that, so when my hair started to noticeably thin, I started looking at options. I didn't like finasteride, and minoxidil is a pain in the ass, so I went right to surgery. I knew that this was going to be a multiple-surgery process, so I was prepared for that.
Like I said, I want to keep my hair and I'm fighting some pretty strong genetics. I had one procedure with another doctor in San Diego, and that went ok, but left some significant scarring, then I found Dr. Mohebi. My first procedure with him he did around 1200 grafts I think, and also worked on reducing the scarring from the strip. Second procedure he did around 1500. I'm about to go in for my third procedure, and hopefully the last.or next-to last one. He's really on the cutting edge of technology, so this time he's not doing a strip, but doing individual extractions and grafts, and will be filling in some thinning areas and filling in my scar with transplants.
So stoked to get the scar covered up.that's been the only issue with the transplants. The scar from the removal of scalp. So glad the technology has moved past that particular issue. Should be a much easier recovery this time.as in, hardly any recovery at all!

Dr. Mohebi is top notch. A quick search of "hair transplants" will turn up so many doctors that you don't know where to begin, but I truly believe that Dr. Mohebi is a world class surgeon. I can't imagine a more perfect experience than what I experienced with Dr. Mohebi and his staff. They were kind, warm, knowledgeable, patient, and most importantly, delivered amazing results.
I have my hairline back, and nobody suspects anything. And then when I do decide to tell some of my close friends, their jaws drop because of how good it looks and they hit me with a million questions - which I happily answer because I'm so thrilled to talk about it. Absolutely zero regrets.

I just had my 6 month followup appointment with Dr. Mohebi on October 19, 2015. He was really impressed with my hair growth, especially at 6 months, and he said I have as much growth as many patients at 1 year. I'm pleased with the progress, but I'm not getting too attached as my next procedure is in November, and he is going to shave my head again.
Back to the starting point. The next procedure will focus on filling in the crown area and a little more in the front and hairline. Dr. Mohebi also recommended that I shave the small tuft of hair that I have at the front center of my hairline to improve my appearance. I have been getting comments from friends and co-workers that I look younger. Little do they know.

COURAGE It takes courage to call Dr. Mohebi. Actually- just to make the decision to do something about natures toll on your hairline. The rest is easy. At our consultation Dr. Mohebi took photos, explained the options and answered all my questions. His quiet and confident manner was very reassuring. I made an appointment for my procedure that day-a decision I did not regret.
The procedure was done about 5 months ago and I am already seeing a nice improvement in my hairline and density. My wife who was a bit skeptical about this whole thing now agrees it was worthwhile. The actually procedure was very comfortable due to sedation and wonderful anesthetics; I dosed through most of it only to be awakened for a nice lunch and snack.
The staff was helpful and pleasant. The first night was a bit rough but not to the point where I took any prescription pain meds- Tylenol was fine. If you are even thinking about hair restoration do yourself a favor and make an appointment to at least meet with the good doctor and find out what's possible.

I had my procedure with Dr. Mohebi over year ago and I'm very very pleased with the results. The level of professionally of him and he's crew exceeds all expectations and I can say it after getting consultation from different doctors before deciding to go with him and after seeing friends of mine doing the procedure with other doctors. Two thumbs up!

We originally went to the Beverly Hills office, but Dr. Mohebi wasn't in so we spoke to him on the phone while he was at his Encino office for a last minute "hey we need your help Doctor!" The receptionist was really nice and told us that he would be in shortly, and that she would tell him to call us when he arrived. I didn't believe it - every doctor's office I've ever been to has told me "oh we'll call you back" and I never hear from them again.
Well I was wrong. In about 30 minutes I got a call back from Dr. Mohebi himself and he answered all the questions my dad had about the pre-surgery treatment he recommended. While we didn't go into this office, I'm throughly impressed by the office staff's responsiveness and willingness to get us directly in touch with the doctor. Amazing.

I got a procedure done from U.S. Hair Restoration with Dr. Mohebi, and I absolutely LOVE the results! It took almost a year from the time the hair were transplanted until they started growing, but the wait was worth it! Now, I like younger, hotter, and I'm no longer insecure or embarrassed about my receding hairline! I compared some surgeons in Los Angeles, and I found US Hair Restoration to be the most reasonable as far as price, and the quality is superb! (I know Dr. Mohebi used to work for one of his competitors when he was first starting out).
I've seen the work of a competitor and it didn't look as natural. My advice is if you're on the fence of getting the procedure done or not, do it! My only regret is I should've got the procedure done a long time ago!
