It was extremely busy, but everyone was very nice an professional! All the nurses did a great job! The Doctor was extremely kind, an helpful! She made me feel very comfortable!

Unprofessional and not serious. they cancelled my appt the day of, just a few hours before when I'd been waiting weeks for it and then canceled my "rescheduled appt" the day of. don't bother. Lots of great dermatologists out there that actually commit to appts.

I did not enjoy the incompetence from the office staff at one of the locations. I did not enjoy being seen my medical assistants that were learning on the job. When you have an appointment with a DOCTOR and you arrive and are told your seeing someone with as much education as a massage therapist it's unacceptable to me. I might be accustomed to a much higher standard of care then this practice offers.

The 1st "assistant" NOT EVEN A NURSE, was clearly unqualified and still learning. I guess you can higher 5 medical assistants for the cost of a Nurse or Nurse practitioner. I'm disgusted with the quality of medical staff. I don't appreciate being someone's practice dummy, the medical assistant was a disgrace and CLEARY incompetent. He didn't seem to know anything about what he was doing.

He had to ask for help and he was swept aside by the person he ran to for help, a "wound care specialist" that at least was competent, thank goodness. The medical assistant had on filthy sneakers. And wearing filthy gloves, as if he had been wearing them all day. I do not appreciate being asked to wear a mask in an office and being seen by a filthy medical worker.

A clean and sterile environment is a must and the staff should be as well. Why should I wear a mask when the staff is spreading germs with filthy gloves? Makes zero sense. I prefer to be seen by DOCTORS. I'm the future I will ONLY be seen by MD's. If I had known I was going to see "medical assistants" and "wound care specialists" I would not have gone.

The doctors are well educated and seem to be pretty great but the love is lost at the operations level. I'd be hard pressed to recommend the practice as anything less then a "factory" that sees as many patients as physically possible and offer those patients to substandard staff.

I had troublesome unsightly keloids on my jaw line that would not go away. I had seen 9 dermatologists in my area and they told me I would have to live with them and there was nothing that could be done. The staff at advanced dermatology were able to remove the keloids and helped me to get radiation treatment on the surgery scar to make sure the keloids didn't not come back.

Everyone in my family was amazed at how well the surgery scar healed and at how great I look without the persistent keloids on my face. I had almost given up hope after having the keloids for almost 4 years! Your face is the very first thing people notice when you meet someone new and I thought I was forced to have these keloids forever I would like to publicly thank advanced dermatology for going the extra mile for me and doing an excellent job I don't leave business reviews often.but the staff at advanced dermatology deserve a shout out and they deserve a shot at your business

I picked because close to my home. I don't recall being offered option to enter information electronically before the visit so I had to do all paperwork when I arrived. Since it was backed up that was ok. I was surprised the photo of my condition was taken with what appeared to be personal phone. Will see if the treatment for my condition is more effective than seeing my PCP on a telehealth visit.

I didn't even see the doctor. Waited 25 mins, got taken into another room, waited another 20 mins then left and no one cared. Blocked my calendar off at work for 2 hours for nothing. One of those dr offices where the second you walk in, you'll see a packed waiting room and get that sinking feeling of - damnit, I made an appointment with one of these insurance scamming, crank them in crank them out, medical factories. Seriously don't bother, even if I did get to see him, apparently he only spends 5 very uninterested minutes with you anyway. Incredibly inconsiderate human being.

DO NOT book an appointment with Dr. Molly Cowdrey. I've had multiple appointments at the Upper West Side (86th) facility on multiple occasions where I have waited over 40 mins after I have checked-in on time or even early for my appointment only to be taken to a back room to then wait an additional 20 mins to be seen and examined by said physician.

She is at the facility only on Wednesdays and is possibly overbooked. If that is the case, why not space out slots as to not have clients waiting for an hour past their scheduled appointment times? They need to offer more times so clients can be seen in a timely fashion or not overbook. Poor management on their part. Absolutely abysmal!

When I got there they were completely over booked I waited for over an hour then the dr saw me for 3 minutes. Then I left and got a bill to pay which I paid. Then I got more bills in the mail even though I paid it. I called they had no record of me paying but thank god I had my credit card statement that I did pay it. Never going back to them again. Obviously they are very unorganized and understaffed and do not give patients the time they deserve.

So I gave this office four stars because the Dr was great. Dr Molly Cowdrey didn't make me feel rushed and she was so informative. I had lots of questions and she answered them all with a smile. I didn't leave there thinking what a waste of a copay. Now here is the issue I called them back the same day because my prescriptions needed preauthorization to be covered by my union prescription program.

I called the office twice was forwarded to the medical assistant left messages and no call back yet. I sent an email to the manager and nothing yet. The office staff are very polite when you are there but returning calls and helping patients over the phone not so much. Let's hope I hear from them today as my prescriptions are pretty pricey so paying out of pocket would not be my first choice that's what my insurance is for so I will keep pressing for them to complete the preauthorization

As I was sitting in the waiting area I was privileged to hear everything as the space is extremely small. There were 2 receptionists seated in the are. One appeared to be Hispanic and the other African American wear extended eye lashes (this info is purely to distinguish between the other ladies). As a customer was at the reception counter checking out the 2 receptionist are discussing another patient and their situation.

The Hispanic lady is informing the other how it was the patient 's fault for whatever happened Not the patient at the counter patient but they were discussing another patient. Then the male patient who was at the counter checking out asks his wife to come over. The elderly wife asks for an appointment with them. The African American receptionist exerts well you were sitting there all this time you could have said something!

The elderly lady softly explained that she was waiting for her to call her to the counter. Disgraceful! This was my 1st and last time at this junk joint. Where did they acquire these Disrespectful clowns? When does respect and professionalism kick in? Whose the office manager? Sloppy!

One of the receptionist is so rude and needs to be properly trained. I tried to make an appointment and she was sighing on the phone like she was annoyed throughout our conversation. And if she actually took time and listened she would be able to understand what I was saying instead of rushing to talk.

There are employees walking around without masks. There are people in the waiting area without masks. This is unacceptable and I will be finding a new office for any further treatments. If anyone should take covid seriously, it is our medical professionals. Very very disappointing.

I called today in order to have information regarding my prescriptions and a woman was really rude and barely let me talk. She hung up on me. No patience, do not work customer service. In addition I had a telehealth appt 2 months ago and Dr besides got into the virtual room late, she was in a rush and everything was quick. Not great experience.

I went to them today to have a cyst removed, my appointment was at 12 I got there at 1150. I was done at 1210.they called me right away.the receptionist very pleasant and the nurse was really nice and caring. Now as for the doctor he was so nice I wish all doctors was like him. he explained in details of what he was going to do he removed the cyst to were it won't grow back and he was done on 10 minutes.thank you! I definitely recommend this place!

The visit was impersonal. The doctor was short, not informative, 45 minutes late. He must have had more important things to do? The examining room was filthy, the floor had dirt and stains all over it. There are plenty of other options in New York.

The dermatologist I saw spent two seconds examining me and then said he would send in a prescription for acne, which my pharmacist never received. I spent the day trying to get the prescription sent to my pharmacist and still have not received it. An absolutely TERRIBLE experience. Will make an appointment with another dermatologist since the doctor did nothing and I cannot get through for an entire day.

My entire experience at Advanced Dermatology was excellent. Their entire staff is friendly, openly willing to assist you immediately, and even helps ease the transition post procedure and after. Both the doctor and my coordinator went above and beyond to make sure I had all the information required to make the best decision for what I wanted. I booked for Fraxel Laser and when the machine was out of order they even called me in advance to reschedule rather than let me show up for no reason.

In going to the appointment again everything was amazing both my nurse and doctor were very professional. Hell, they even had me in there cracking up laughing the whole time. Overall, I would recommend this place 100,010% and I even have other appointments in the future. Go for it, it's worth it!

My first time there, I had an appointment with Christina and she was amazing. I loved that she was not trying to sell me things like other places do. She was listening to what I wanted for now (mole removal ) and made me extremely comfortable about it. Anyway she has hands of gold because I felt NOTHING! Literally nothing. She was great, the entire staff was very nice. Also I had almost no wait time at all, like 5 minutes if that. I would definitely recommend this place and of course Christina!

I visited this practice last spring - March 5th, 2020 to be exact. I waited over an hour to be seen by a physician assistant, even though I had an appointment. Maybe don't overbook so your patients can actually be seen within a reasonable time frame? The PA was nice and helpful for the most part. The front desk/office didn't ask me to pay a copay before or after my appointment, so I assumed my insurance covered the whole visit.

Guess I was wrong because MORE THAN A YEAR LATER, just a few days ago on March 22nd, 2021, I received a collections notice in the mail. I open it and I'm shocked to see it's for $30.00 and apparently it's for the copay I never knew existed. I never received a letter from this office, not once. I can't say if they ever actually did send one since the mail can be unreliable but I never received one.

This office also had my number on file. Why no phone call? Why not send a letter or additional letters if the first one was lost? You really send it to collections? Over $30.00? Yes, three zero. Thirty dollars. Clearly the people who work here don't know how to run things efficiently. If this had gone on longer, it could have affected my credit score and it would have been due to their negligence and incompetence.

Communication is a strength. The front desk is friendly and efficient. The overall office atmosphere is upbeat and professional. The place is clean and inviting. Dr. Friedler instills confidence and trust in her staff. She was open and receptive to my concerns.

My visits with Dr. Taglienti is always pleasant. He is extremely knowledgeable and has excellent bedside manner. It is truly unmatched. He is always attentive in addressing my concerns, while reassuring and answering any questions I may have. Also, the staff is so sweet and is accommodating in scheduling my appointments. I enjoy all my visits at Advanced Dermatology!

Doctor Troccoli and nurses are nice and friendly, but I always need to wait at least 30 minutes to see the doctor no matter if I came early or on time; sometimes, the waiting time even goes up to 1 hour. The extra waiting always piss me off, but overall the doctor and nurses are very helpful

I have been going to Advanced Dermatology since 2000 and have always found their services to be excellent. I have mostly seen Dr. Troccoli, who has been great! He has always shown superior expertise in dermatology. I highly recommend Advanced Dermatology.

The doctor's and PA's are great. The office is clean. Wait times are iffy, it's based on when you sign in and NOT your actual appointment time. I arrived at 11:45am for a 12pm appointment, 15 mins early but someone else arrived at 11:55am for a 12:30 appointment, 30 mins early, and was called before me. WTF?! Since I was early I should have been seen first and not penalized because someone arrived much earlier than me.

My biggest issue is they charge you a fee for using a credit card which is illegal. The merchant is responsible for the fee and NOT the customer. I have never had a doctor charge me a fee for using my credit card before now. Disgraceful!

What a wonderful experience. This was my first visit to Advanced Dermatology. Made the appointment for an annual check-up and to check a questionable spot. Check-in was fast and hassle-free. Staff were friendly, helpful and respectful. Dr. Joerg was efficient, thorough and personable. I highly recommend a visit for anyone in need of a dermatologist!

I've been suffering from really bad eczema (on my feet & face) and made an appointment to see Dr. Wong. I am so happy that I found her! Every time I go see other doctors they would make you wait so long, then rush you out the door, but Dr. Wong was very patient with me and thorough! Highly recommend :)

I recently saw Dr. Jennifer Wong and she was so sweet and understanding of my condition. She was very quick to diagnose and prescribe what I needed, knowing I needed to be treated quickly. She has exceptional bedside manners and I will continue to see her for all my skin problems. Thank you Dr. Wong for saving my skin!

I went to see Dr. Jennifer Wong to remove a cyst and she was very skilled, fast and accommodating. I would definitely recommend her.

I walked in when their office was about to close and dr jenn wong was kind enough to see me. i had a huge pimple on my nose ahead of a very important week ahead at work.she injected it and it was gone the next day as she mentioned. i also exhibited sharp pains on my back near the area where i had a formal skin condition. she gave me sound consultation and the pain subsided greatly over the following week. i'd highly recommend seeing dr wong and she was thoughtful enough to provide a follow up call as well.

A great place a great environment! Staff are so helpful and want nothing but the best for there patients!

So I've been here before and it wasn't much different. Expect to wait at least 30~ minutes. It's this huge open space where people can get loud and chatty. There were 3 ladies at reception and their conversations seemed more important than helping me. Dr. Wong is very lovely and efficient but seemed a bit rushed. Overall, an OK experience.

Effie Rabinowitz is the PA I see at Advanced Dermatology. She is very knowledgeable, patient, kind and always willing to help with any dermatological issues. She has treated my acne with great results and a few other skin conditions. She has also treated my son for acne and a few other friends of mine. They all have had a great experience and for that I will always recommend her.

Currently she is treating me with laser hair removal and I've already seen great results. I'm looking forward to some Intensif Micro needling sessions done by her in the future. When I'm seen by her, I know I'm in great hands. Thank you Advanced Dermatology for the amazing providers! I usually see her in two locations, the Astoria and the Commack locations.

The receptionists and other staff in the Astoria location are very pleasant and helpful. However, I did not have the same pleasant experience in the Commack location. One particular receptionist who seemed to be someone in charge of the rest of the receptionists in the Commack location is very rude and made me feel unwelcome. For this reason my future appointments will be scheduled in the Astoria Advanced Dermatology only.

Dr. Parris diagnosed me with a medical condition my GP overlooked within 5 minutes and gave me all the information I needed for treatment right away. He and his staff went out of their way to help me over the phone as I did not have much time off work. They were true angels.

Dr. Wong is patient, knowledgeable, and has great bedside manner. She has helped me with all my skin needs! I have really sensitive skin and she always recommends the best prescriptions to clear it and also samples with over the counter products for maintenance. I would definitely recommend her.

Great service great results! My 15 yr old sons face is clear & handsome as ever! When asked by another parent what he used to keep his skin healthy. I sent her to. Advanced Dermatology. Now She and her son are very happy and clear

There's never too long of a wait at this clinic. The staff are very friendly and attentive. Dr Wong takes her time with the patient. She helped me clear my acne prone skin. She listens to your problems.

Quick and painless like a trip to the dentist, right? I'm actually not sure if I had my appointment at City Derm or not (sign in the waiting room said Progressive Dermatologist). BUT my experience was not too shabby! As it was my first time I showed up a tad bit early to fill out some paper work and was seen just as I was finished signing my name.

So I guess it was quick? Any who, my experience with both the nurse and doctor were fair. The nurse seemed to be in medical school as she didn't know some of the program on the computer. No big deal. The doctor (can't remember his name.short, white guy with light hair color) was very knowledgeable. His whole body scan took 3 minutes which I found to be very odd.

From my experience doctors like to take their time here. He noticed one mole that needed to have a biopsy and he cut me open like a steak from Morten's! The quick cut wasn't too bad, but the bleeding there after has now lasted over 14 hours. It was deep, but it seemed as though the nurse did not give a lot attention to sealing the wound. Needless to say, I will be coming back on a yearly basis to get a full body check up. Great service and great people. Was in and out under 40 minutes! Can't beat it, bruh.

I've been going to this place for maybe 10 years. I never had a problem with the doctor. The issue is the front desk and the company's policies. After my doctors visit They told me I had to pay $130 with my Insurance. I questioned why so much, because i know i used to pay way cheaper in the past. i SAID "i never paid this much before" And i asked "why it is so much?" so something felt wrong.

She just looked at me and told me it's your insurance. I kept questioning her and she kept saying its your insurance. I paid and left feeling ripped off for some reason because i know i have paid cheaper in the past i never had insurance for years and it was always cheaper. So i called up A few days later and asked how much is a regular doctor visit without insurance it's $75! SO Why wasn't i charged $75?

I was charged $130 with insurance. I called my insurance they said its the doctor's fault. I called the doctor office they said it's my insurance contract. I made an issue. I been a patient for a long time, Not only me but my whole family goes here giving you BUSINESS. The manager told me the front desk girl "wasn't obligated" to tell me that it cost $75 without your insurance. "She wasn't obligated" HA!. EVEN AFTER I told her why so much? Expressing and telling her its alot of money, I GUESS she still didn't feel obligated to tell me that.

She made me feel as if I have to pay that amount and there was no other amount I could pay but 130. In the end I got refunded over the phone, they know they were wrong. This definitely changed my outlook on this doctor office. On top of that the manager brought up my prescription medication that i plan to have stating that it would be expensive without insurance or with just letting you know.

I said don't worry i can pay for it, i just dont like to be ripped off that's all. Honest employees AND BUISNESS would have said it costs $75 without insurance. Honest employees would have said yes because you used to pay $75 dollars. Honestly, i don't want to go back, if I do i'd really like to ask them about their "obligation policy" in person. You definitely lost a patient's trust. So sad.

Terrible experience. Staff is slow and doesn't respond at all. Felt rushed and uncomfortable. Seems like no one cares much at this place.
