Not very helpful. Not to mention a bit disrespectful. I asked Dr. Mariano to restate an unclear statement that he made about insurance, and he gave me sass. Unfortunately, this seems to be typical behavior for most doctors in my experience. They also took an x-ray that they didn't need to take (they had recent ones from my previous dentist), and then charged me for it. I don't care to return here.

My life has been filled with injuries and sometimes those injuries come back to haunt me. Most notably, I recently had a tooth that had been capped fall out. My two front teeth were cut in half due to a head on collision with a drunk driver when I was 19 years old and now I needed someone to recement one back on. Because I'm disabled I have a fixed income and my dental coverage is minimal.
I called my insurance to see where I could go to have it fixed and be covered under my insurance. Unfortunately when I got to the office they no longer took my insurance. I was obviously upset but even though I couldn't afford it I decided to have it done anyway. I had to get it done as speaking with a lisp was a little embarrassing. As a new patient I was assigned to Dr. Worsely and I told him "my story, " and he began my examination and procedure.
As he worked on the tooth, out of nowhere, I broke down and started to cry. Something inside me triggered & I think I had some kind of PTSD from the car accident and having him work on that tooth brought those memories to the surface out of my subconscious. It is rare to have a doctor react the way Dr. Worsley did. He was kind, soothing, understanding and extremely compassionate.
Nothing like I've ever seen before and I have seen many, many, doctors in my lifetime. He made me feel cared for, was patient and truly listened. We all have these horror stories of doctors who treat us poorly, and treat us more like a number instead of a human being. I wanted to make sure that the public knew that this doctor was "different" and as I called him when I was there, a "Dental Angel" I wish more doctors were like Dr. Worsley. Bravo Dr.! and thank you so much!

Over the weekend I had some pretty bad tooth pain. I called around 8 in the morning when they opened and asked if they could see me because of the severe pain. The receptionist was very nice over the phone and helpful and also informed me that I could come in for 8:45. The staff was extremely professional and seemed like they were spot-on. After the examination they even helped me find a place locally that could remove my wisdom teeth.
I'm looking forward to going to this dentist for as long as I can. Was a very good experience extremely helpful very clean environment. Thank you very much it is much appreciated. The nice lady who helped me book an appointment was really good at it I will say that. Super helpful.

I hate to write this because I received the best service from Dr. Worsey and his assistant. During my appointment, I was told I needed a root canal and that the next available appointment would be in Northampton, or, I could wait until the following Wednesday and see the specialist at the East Longmeadow location. There was an extreme downpour as I was headed to the Northampton office for my appointment.
I left early to give myself time to find the location and because of the downpour. Plus, I needed to drive slower than usual. However, I just could not see and it became dangerous for me to continue on the highway. I got off the highway and called their office right away to let them know I needed to cancel or come at a later time because I did not feel safe enough to drive.
The receptionist was not only rude but lacked empathy. She told me that they squeezed in last minute(I didn't ask or expect them to squeeze me in. While making the appointment, I even said that they could schedule me for whatever day that would be most convenient for them since the receptionist mentioned needing to move appointments around). I was giving them the courtesy of calling their office to let them know that I may not be able to make it to the appointment on time, or at all, because I could not see on the highway during the downpouring rain.
If I waited for the rain to pass, I would have been late for my appointment. The receptionist told me that I needed to pay a $35 fee which is fine. But, the lack of empathy and total disregard for the concern of my safety is disappointing from a customer service standpoint. Under normal rain conditions, it would not have been as big of a deal. Safety should always come first.

Dr. Emirzian and Amy did an amazing job with a crown on my front tooth. They told me that matching one single front tooth is the hardest thing to do in terms of the cosmetics and they did a fantastic job. My friends and family cant even tell which one is the crown and which is my natural tooth! I've been coming here for routine cleanings for several years, but I am especially impressed with the work they've done for my crown and the wonderful service Amy gave me during my whitening sessions as well.

Coming from someone who is very hesitant to visit the dentist I wanted to note that Dr. Lisa and Amy are a POWERHOUSE of a team. From the minute I walked in receptionists and team made me feel comfortable, and relaxed. Mind you, I may not be the easiest patient when it comes to sitting still, but because of them it is getting easier every visit. I highly recommend EMA, and both Dr. Lisa and Amy if you are looking for dentist options.

The staff at the East Longmeadow location are fantastic. Through the COVID pandemic, they kept strict regulations to ensure the safety of everyone present, and I could not have been happier with my experience. I had Kaycee as my dental hygienist and she was great! She was friendly and helped to put me at ease. We chatted a bit and she seemed to have the right balance of asking questions at the appropriate time when I could answer, and offering tidbits of her own personal life to relate and keep the conversation going.
And now, my teeth feel clean and happy! I have had many positive experiences with EMA dental over the four or so years that I've been a patient there, and I highly recommend them!

I came to EMA for a consult about replacing my remaining teeth with dentures or implants. I had read favorable reviews online before arriving and expected a friendly staff and top-notch service; I was not disappointed on either score. Dr. Mariano and his assistant, Brooke, were thorough in their examination and explanations of the treatment plans available to me. Andi broke the different options down to understandable dollars and cents.
All encouraged me to be in touch with questions on any part of the proffered plans. I will be making a decision on which plan suits me best and returning to EMA to have the work done. I must say, I have never experienced such care in a dental office and in very few medical offices. I have no doubt the work itself, no matter which plan I choose, will be first rate. Thanks!
