Uterine fibroids result in excessive bleeding, bloating and discomfort due to tissue and lumps along the uterine wall. Our non-surgical fibroids treatment quickly and safely puts an end to excess bleeding, offering optimal success with low risk. This treatment typically provides immediate results. When the lining of the uterus grows outside of the uterus, women may experience vaginal dryness, hot flashes, fatigue and other uncomfortable symptoms. Our whole body approach helps reduce inflammation and successfully treat this irritating autoimmune condition.
Some women have a genetic predisposition to develop fibroids. It is thought that perhaps higher estrogen levels or greater fluctuations of estrogen might predispose some women to develop fibroids. Fibroids can run in families, but it is not a 100% probability. Just because your mother or grandmother had significant fibroids, it does not mean that you are destined to develop them.
Little is commonly known or understood about Endometriosis. What is known is that it can strike between 10 and 20 percent of American Women of childbearing age. The name Endometriosis comes from the word "endometrium", the tissue that lines the inside of the uterus. Normally, this tissue builds up and is shed each month and is discharged as menstrual flow.
Also if bleeding involves clots or you always bleed through tampons or pads your bleeding may be too heavy. Also bleeding that results in anemia is usually abnormal. Obviously, the type of treatment depends on the diagnosis. In our office, we always use the least invasive approach. Once the initial evaluation is completed, and cancer and infection are ruled out, we attempt to control the bleeding with medication or small procedures. We are extremely excited about a new minimally invasive treatment for heavy bleeding called Novasure.
The size of labia minora varies greatly among women. Enlarged labia minora are found in a significant proportion of women and don't cause any harm. However, some women are dissatisfied with the appearance of their vaginal area, are self-conscious regarding how they look in tight clothes, and may experience discomfort during intercourse.

Amazing doctor, so happy i chose dr.preys as my obgyn. every doctors visit went amazing, she never once rushed us out of our appointments, being a first time mom i definitely had a lot of questions and would freak out over everything but dr preys always answered my questions clearly that i had no worries walking out of her office. Being first time parents, not having much knowledge, not only did she answer all of my questions but also took her time and answered all of my husbands as well, we both truly trusted her my whole pregnancy. she delivered my beautiful baby girl last week and all i can say is she has amazing bed side manner, the way she talked me through labor and delivery made me feel comfortable and safe. I definetly will be keeping her as my doctor! I highly recommend her to everyone looking for a obgyn!

I give 3 stars for waiting time. I come to see Dr. Preys for a few years. And I totally love this doctor. She is absolutely great! Always friendly, always taking care of every each detail. My frind recommended me Dr. Zoya Preys once and since then I like seeing her. But. I came today for my appointment which was at 11am, now it's 12pm and I'm still waiting.
They keep telling me I'm next, funny. I understand they can be behind with lots of people for 3-4 doctors, but 1h of waiting, serious?! No other complaints tho. Stuff is friendly and helpful. But when you come here, make sure you've extra time to wait until they call you in.

Dr. Preys and all her staff are amazing. There aren't enough words to describe how fantastic they all are. I would highly recommend Dr. Preys without a doubt. Not only she is an excellent professional, but she is so caring and thoughtful. The staff is also awesome. I would like to thank Sarah for being so attentive and thorough. This is certainly a great model for many doctor's office to follow. Thank you.

During appointment she told that my wife came from the country of the 3rd World! I newer saw in Dubai so dirty office as she has! Her equipment was delivered I think from USSR. About payment: she charge for appointment 140$ and for some test 40$. My wife want just to remove IUD and she want to charge 2000$ for it! We decide better to go to Cedars Sinai hospital. No one nows this Russian zoya! All we pay 190$ We are very sad that we have experience to meet this "doctor ".

Dr. Preys is fantastic. I came to her because I needed to have my IUD replaced. She is incredibly warm and funny, which are two essential characteristics for the person putting an IUD in your body to have. She is very understanding, listened to my fears and concerns, answered my questions, and did her best to reassure me. I always feel at ease during visits with her. Could not recommend her enough.

I asked them to mail me the results of my PAP smear but they never did. I've been trying to reach them for the past 3 weeks but the voicemail says their offices are now "closed". They've been closed for three weeks. I need to know the results to my tests. does anyone know why they're suddenly closed without giving their patients any notice?

Dr. Prey was a wonderful doctor but her offices methods are awful. Charged me with multiple laboratory exams when I clearly just came to have routine service done. Over 10 laboratory exams were charged. Always remember to ask them for a complete detailed receipt of what they will charge you and your insurance, also ask them for the procedure codes, and last but not least call your insurance and notify them.

Dr. Preys is a great doctor I will not lie. She has great bedside manner and cares a lot about you. She will do anything to help you. BUT the staff is beyond horrible. They are the reason I have a head ace and am stressing right now. The person picking up the phone Marina was super rude to myself and the receptionist at the office I go to now. She is highly unprofessional and does not know how to talk to patients.
I was calling to have them fax over a simple paper. First they claimed they do not have it. Then they said they will fax it after a rude outburst. They violated my patient rights and do not know how to do a simple task professionally. I asked to speak to a supervisor. Someone named stephanie picked up and was nice at first. After we told her how rude her staff was she became rude as well. Every single one of the staff needs to be trained.

My experience began with some challenges in communicating with the admin staff due to language barriers during the scheduling process. A few specific notes: * PARKING: the building has a self-parking lot and valet parking options. The self-parking garage takes CASH only (so heads up! - there is an ATM inside the building, if needed). The slots are extremely small, so many cars take up two spots, resulting in lots of half spots open until you get to the 4th floor or above (3rd floor is reserved for physicians).
The cost is $1 per 15 minutes, with a max of $10. * Paperwork: New patients need to come early to fill out a bunch of paperwork on an old fashioned clipboard. Note, it really takes 30 minutes to fill it all out, so give yourself time ahead of your scheduled appt. After filling out the paperwork, I waited another 20 minutes before I was seen. Most of the administrative employees speak to one another in a combination of Russian & English. Zoya herself has fantastic bedside manner and seems exceptionally knowledgeable in her practice. However, given the travel distance, busy surrounding location, and difficult admin staff, I ended up selecting a different doctor for ongoing care.

I can't even begin to explain how incredible Dr. Preys is. Having my first child I was so scared and nervous but Dr. Preys and her amazing staff made me feel so comfortable and at ease. I have never been happier with a doctor in my life. Dr. Preys was so patient and understanding and took the time to make sure I was happy. She answered all my questions and concerns.
She was always available anytime I called after-hours. She actually cares for her patients. My delivery experience was a dream. The whole delivery process went so smoothly. Dr. Preys is amazing. I can't stop recommending her to all my family and friends.

I called to make an appointment two weeks ago and was talked to in such an unnecessarily demeaning manner, I told the receptionist "never mind" and hung up. I decided to call them and give them another try based on how many good reviews there are. Maybe the receptionist had a bad day, bad phone call before me, maybe it was me! I just called and it was very obvious I spoke to the same woman (wish I got her name, but by the other bad reviews, it's clearly the same one) and she is a f&$king bitch. SO RUDE. SO DEMEANING. WHY?
I am notoriously cheery and nice when I speak to people on the phone, especially people who I expect to see on a regular basis at my doctors office. She's speaking to a stranger and supposed to make new patients feel welcomed. Part of her job is customer service. You're in the wrong line of work lady. I hope Dr Preys takes these one star reviews into consideration and rethinks who she has communicating with people who could be life long patients. Absolutely Terrible.
