My wife had a recent radical surgical procedure with bilateral mastectomies and direct reconstruction performed by Dr. Lisa Hunsicker and her breast oncology partner. From the very first preoperative visit, until the last postoperative appointment at 6 weeks, we had an absolute stellar world-class experience with Dr. Hunsicker and the team in her office. Dr. Hunsicker's level of empathy and compassion and her ability to explain things simply for the patient and their loved one to understand, are unmatched and represent genuine patient-centric care with a focus on shared decision-making.

In addition, Dr. Hunsicker's stringent preoperative and postoperative plans are invariably evidence-based and in the patient's best interest, with the intent of not just reducing, but actually AVOIDING any peri-/ or postoperative complications. This includes alternative medicine approaches ("green smoothie" and acupunture!) that complement standards of modern medicine, including the streamlined "Enhanced Surgical Recovery" (ESR) approach.

This represents a global best practice program for early postoperative recovery with avoidance of pain, nausea/vomiting, and potential surgical complications. Indeed - it all worked out, even better than we could have ever expected: my wife had ZERO pain postoperatively, and did not take ANY opiate/narcotic medication for postoperative pain control.

The antibiotic pump was removed at three days, and the drains came out at two weeks, again without any pain at all! Finally, the surgical wounds healed completely within 6 weeks, and the cosmetic result of the breast reconstruction is simply spectacular (as attested by the patient and her husband.). The only "painful" stipulation was the requirement to outsource our epic chihuahua Hector for 6 weeks, to decrease the risk of pet-hair-induced surgical site infection.

Doctor Hunsicker and her assistant, Gina were both so friendly and professional and took a long time explaining everything to me. The medical history they take is extremely comprehensive but I feel like there's good reason for it. Doctor Hunsicker went through all of it very carefully. Then when she examined me, she explained why the procedure I had gone there for would not work for me, but suggested a possible alternative. Overall, I was very impressed with the office and Doctor Hunsicker.

I saw Kim, NP, for a hydrofacial and had a great experience. She was very professional and easy to communicate with. I had never had that type of facial before and she explained everything during the service. It's been one year since my direct to implant reconstruction with bilateral mastectomy. I am thrilled with the results. The option to have this procedure done in just one surgery was amazing. In addition, this was a day surgery. I was comfortable at home in the afternoon following surgery. Dr. Hunsicker's detailed regimen which includes pre-surgery testing and nutrition suggestions and post-surgery instructions leaves nothing to chance. Dr. Hunsicker is always available to answer any questions or concerns.

Her procedure utilizing the nerve block resulted in no pain whatsoever for 3-4 days after surgery. After that time, the discomfort was well controlled by only Tylenol. It was such a relief to not take any opioid pain medication at all. I encourage anyone who is facing a breast cancer diagnosis to contact Dr. Hunsicker for a consultation. The knowledge that reconstruction can be done in just one surgery with the mastectomy instead of facing multiple surgeries is such a welcome relief.

I went to Revalla for an ear lobe tear replacement and had such a positive experience. Dr. Hunsicker did an awesome job repairing the tear, but Colleen, the PA who handled all of my pre-op appointments and follow up is really the reason I would come back to Revalla. She was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and instantly put me at ease about what the procedure would entail.

They were also incredibly affordable - at $500 for the repair and ear re-piercing, I found that they offered the best price compared to other plastic surgeons in the area. I've also recommended this practice to a friend of mine and they were able to get her in very quickly, as opposed to other surgeons who wanted to put her on a 2-month wait list. An acquaintance told me Dr. Widner and Dr. Hunsicker are the "Dream Team"; she was right! I am 6 weeks out from my double mastectomy with immediate reconstruction for breast cancer and feel great! Dr. Hunsicker gave me so much time at my first appointment, patiently answering all of my questions. Dr. Hunsicker has been an amazing resource not only with reconstruction surgery following mastectomy but just in general during my breast cancer journey. She has given me countless resources and has taken so much time with me to ensure everything goes to plan. I feel so lucky to have had her as my surgeon and had the choice with her to skip the expanders and go straight to implants. The staff at her office is always delightful as well. I wish everyone faced with having to have mastectomies could have the gift of using her and her team.

Dr Hunsicker is sharp and I'm confident she is very good at what she does. However her support staff has made this a painful process and I'm not even under the knife yet. Paid my deposit for my $10k plus cosmetic/ out of pocket procedure however am feeling more like an inconvenience than a paying ( out of pocket ) customer leading up to the surgery. Hassle is the word that comes to mind. Prima Donna, I am not. Just a busy person like everyone else.

Ruth was so great! This office has a VISIA machine which is able to see what is happening underneath the surface of the skin which allowed Ruth to pick out the best treatment for my skin. I went in thinking microneedling was what my skin needed but learned that the perfect peel was a better option to start! Highly recommend Revalla for all your aesthetic needs! As of today from the help of Dr. Achyria, Dr. Lisa Gunderson, Dr. Lisa Hunsicker, Dr. Jodi Widener and all the wonderful staff, I am CANCER FREE.Dr. W removed all breast tissue on both and amazingly the 6 chemo treatments did what they were supposed to do and it melted the cancer within along with 8 lymph nodes removed - nothing suspicious - cleared!

Still have radiation to go, but this is where Dr. H comes in with direct to implant and I must say my new breasts are amazing and nipples spared and on week 3 of healing. I would like to thank the great nurse practitioner Collen. I received Botox treatment from her. The best I have EVER received. Instant improvement of my forehead wrinkles with no eye lip droop. Most of all NO bruising! I will return to her every time. Thank you Collen.

I had my permanent eyeliner done by Collene, there's no doubt about it! She went above and beyond to make sure I was happy. My right eye wasn't taking to color as well as the left, and she refused to let me leave unhappy. She was a perfectionist when it comes to everything. Made sure they match perfectly. Many of my friends have had breast cancer. and reconstruction. Their surgeons used spacers and they had to go in for several surgeries. I found Dr. Hunsicker and she told me the she can reconstruct at the time of the mastectomy and go directly to implants. Only one surgery, and done. None of the ladies I knew who had gone through reconstruction believed this was possible.

They told me all the reasons why it wouldn't work. I'm six weeks out. I am healing beautifully. I have zero restrictions. I still have my nipples. And I don't need to keep going back for more procedures. More surgeons need to learn this procedure. Why go through several surgeries when you can do 1? I am thankful I found Dr. Hunsicker.
