I had coolsculpting done. I was told to expect a 20% reduction in my lower belly. When I asked about a guarantee, I was told "I can't guarantee results, but I can tell you that I've never had anyone not get results." That was comforting enough to go ahead with the procedure. 3 months later, I had no results in my lower belly area despite a healthy diet, daily exercise, and 5 lb lost from my diet and exercise.
I called and was told that I can do a 2nd round of the procedure if I'd like to. Why would I spend $1700 on the first round and get no results to turn around and spend $1000 on a second round? Very unprofessional and an unacceptable response to a concern about not seeing results. I guess I'll go on record as the "first" to not get results. but I surely won't spend another dime here.

Nineteen years after having a left modified radical mastectomy, I decided it was way past time to get a breast implant. I was referred to Dr Funk, who came very highly recommended, by someone who knew his work. From the very first visit, to all 3 subsequent procedures, I knew I was in good hands. Dr Funk is a true artist who takes great pride in his work, as one can tell by the end results. Dr Funk is kind, gentle & caring & always greets one with a great smile.
He knows my family & he never fails to ask how they are doing. His staff are an extension of Dr Funk. I have always been greeted very cordially and never leave the office without having a conversation with everyone. The girls & John are the best (I might add that I really miss John's sweet little dogs. I'm not an animal person, but those 2 were so irresistible). Keep doing what you do, Dr Funk. You are THE BEST!

I had the same experience as the review mentioned before in regards to the receptionist. I scheduled my consultation anyway. Dr Funk was very rude he was more concern with profiling me than explaining the procedure to me. He chatted for however long out in the hallway about his upcoming vacation and then rushed me. The assistance that set up the room was nice and I could tell she was embarrassed for the way he treated me.

I dread the day when Dr. Funk retires. I'm surprised nobody else has left a review for this phenomenal and truly talented surgeon. I'm assuming that's because they don't want anybody to know they get a little aesthetic "help." He is well known in the Lancaster/York area and his reputation is stellar. I have recently moved to the Baltimore area and will continue to make the drive to Lancaster every four months or so for my Juvederm/botox treatments.
I have had fillers done by other surgeons before Dr. Funk and his results are far superior- he takes his time, you never feel rushed, he is so pleasant, and his skill / knowledge is very apparent. I know a few friends who have had breast augmentations/rhinoplasty done by Dr. Funk and their results are excellent as well. I also know a few friends who have had botox and fillers done by dermatologists and some medi spa places and their results are not quite as good. Don't be fooled by price when it comes to botox and fillers- they are all injecting the same thing pretty much but the skill of the injector and where they place it is the most important thing in my opinion.
If you are considering cosmetic surgery, I heartily recommend consulting with him. I cannot say enough good things about this talented surgeon and his office staff. Truly as good as it gets.
